I don't know there is being patient (patience is a virtue) and just being ssssssssloooooooooooooow (which is not). My motto is don't take forever or you'll be dead by then.

The funny thing is that people are impatient and want things NOW! So someone from the east coast buys speakers from the left coast and vice versa and if they had only waited, what 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, et cetera they could have purchased what they were looking for locally. I would never trust buying a heavy speaker through "the mail" (including UPS FED EX wHaTeVeR) I like to "kick" the merchandise and pick it up when paying CASH $$$$.

The fact is, the LS 3/5a is a very very highly regarded speaker with many web pages run by fans of it that I have discovered and looked at last night. High IMD but highly regarded. I want to hear from a learned engineer such as Doctor Who rather than read unscientific musings from the uncredentialed.
