  1. Well, set up the sub today and it sounds better than it ever has. Just listened to some Rush at louder than recomended levels (thankfully the family is at work and school here so I am allowed) very busy bass with alot going on musically, and everything sounded tight and incredible. Wow. Did not think I had room but it fits fine and looks great where I put it. Thanks for all the input, now I need to change my ad, SVS no longer for sale. Still Have a pair of RF-7II's for sale though.
  2. appreciate the input tkd. Let you know how it works out.
  3. I am going to give it a try. Thanks
  4. I recently relocated to Colorado and am in a much smaller home and am trying to set up my system. Would placing my sub (SVS PB-13 ULTRA) in the rear facing my front sound stage, which is three RF-7II'S, in the center between my seating positions 10 feet from the front center channel speaker be an issue. I only ask because it is my only option other than selling and buying a PC-13 Ultra to place in a corner. The room is 12.5' wide by 16.5' long, I have cathedral ceilings whith and an open concept if this info helps. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks
  5. wow! Good luck with your sale. I had to sell my K-Horns when we moved to colorado and I miss them something awful.
  6. I had the RC-64 II paired with my RF-7 II'S UP FRONT and replaced it with an RF-7 II and was very pleased with the result. I also ran two more RF-7 II's for surrounds and did like how they all sounded together. I am selling the ones right now that I used as surrounds because we moved to Colorado and into a smaller home but I miss that set up.
  7. I recently moved to Colorado and unfourtunately am Living in a smaller home so some of my equipment will no longer be able to fit. I have two black RF7-II'S that I used as surround speakers that I am asking 1600.00. These are packed in the original boxes. I have an SVS PB13-ULTRA in black oak which is packed in the original box also, for which I will be asking 1400.00. I will be looking for a PC13-ULTRA to replace this. I live in the Vail area and prefer not to have to ship, but they are in the original boxes as I have stated so it is possible. If someone is interested I will e-mail pics. I also have some KSP-S6 surrounds, two pair, that I may also be selling but I am having a hard time with that decision. These were all part of my 11.1 system that I had set up before the move, now I am back to 5.1.
  8. What do you meen by good condition? Why are you selling?
  9. Not strange at all, more like beautiful.
  10. ......and I must say I could be wrong but I don't think there is anything better than using floorstanders as your surround speakers I agree, I also use an RF-7II for a center and it works exceptionally well, very balanced.
  11. I would go with at least the 82II'S and fill in as you can from there otherwise as stated here you may find yourself constantly upgrading to get to where you want to be (it is an addiction and may happen anyway).Just letting you know from experiance that it is a lot cheaper in the long run, and way easier on the happy wife meter.
  12. Mine just came in the mail today, I am looking forward to trying it out when I get home from work tonight. Sub arrive yet. I have the SVSpb13ultra and have been pretty pleased with it. It is the 4th sub I have tried from different companies and the first one that I liked.
  13. How do you like your oppo 95.
  14. Merry Christmas, My first with Klipschorns and McIntosh. Christmas never sounded so good! All the best to everyone in our Klipsch family.
  15. No I have not. I have klipschorns and Mcintosh gear for two channel now so it is not a real problem anymore.
  16. I run 5 RF-7II'S an SVS pb13 ultra and 6 KSP-S6 surrounds I have the flagship RX-Z11 Yamaha and I have the same issue no matter what I do. The movies are amazing when songs play but regular stereo or pure direct is no where near as tight or full, and I have tried everything with this amp. It sounds good just not as good as it should so I have to say that it is the Yamaha especially since it sounds so much better on movie soundtracks. Just my opinion.
