  1. I thought I uploaded the picture, I amaze myself at times.
  2. Which crossover is this? I just removed the back of the speakers I picked up yesterday, looks brand new back there, 1980.
  3. Left for Durango yesterday at 3:30 in the am and returned home by 5:20 in the PM. It was a spectacular day not a cloud in the sky, breathtaking views. Such a beautiful state I live in, fortunate. I am listening to Miles Davis right now and am reminded why I had been missing my Klipschorns so much since we had moved six years ago and I had to sell them. I love what I am hearing so far.
  4. Nice to have a little good fortune on occasion.
  5. Thanks, I was just thinking of you when I was buying these.
  6. Yes it should be an amazing ride just hoping the weather cooperates. Looks like I may have a window Saturday, fingers crossed.
  7. R Right there with you on the sleep thing.
  8. La Scalla's are the only Heritage I have not owned, actually I have not even heard a set.
  9. Yes a day trip for sure and yes it was much easier when I was younger. I will probably leave around 4:00 am so I can be home early afternoon. I am an early riser.
  10. About 540 miles round-trip, 10 hours or so but worth it. Now to tell the Wife.
  11. It was an open auction and only I bid.
  12. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-LaScalla/323057555392?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 What do you guys think, good deal? Road trip in store now.
  13. I second that. Just what I am looking for also but a little far from Colorado and I would rather not let UPS have a go at destroying them. GLWS
  14. Thank you for all of the replies. I have owned so many Klipsch speakers, Belle's K-horns Cornwall's Heresy 1's II's III's Chorus II's RF-7II's and the list goes on and on but these are the first KG's, 150.00 for a like new pair from a wealthy owner in Vail, couldn't resist. I have them hooked to my Vinyl rig and they are very very enjoyable.
  15. Has no one tried the titanium tweeters or rebuilt or upgraded the crossovers on this model?
  16. What are some things available to upgrade the KG 5.2's and what are the results from such upgrades. I know there are titanium replacement tweeters, though I have never heard them. I am really pleasantly surprised at how good these little speakers do sound as is.
  17. I really like these capacitors. I did not get the pelican case but the original packaging is pretty robust and this amp is built like a tank.
  18. Selling my Torii Jr. with the upgraded Beeswax type II copper capacitors. It is in excellent condition. This is an amazing amplifier that has a beautiful full sound with amazing detail from top to bottom. I will ship with the original tubes and will include a NOS RCA 5U4 coke bottle rectifier and four NOS Amperex white label 6DJ8's as well as a matched quad of Brimar 807's. I have the original packaging for shipping. Asking $2250.00 plus shipping. http://www.decware.com/newsite/TORIIJR.html
  19. Nice. I just bought one of the PC-2000's and it is a very nice unit I may do another one down the road also. Dual's is the way to go for sure if you have the room.
