  1. well i was talking to my little brother today (hes 10), and told him i brought the movie and he said he already has it and loves it, he knows every line in it and said he had seen it at least 20 times, so if your my little bro the answer is LOTS![:|]
  2. well DU i took your advise and purchased walle today, my wife and i just finished watching it, its fantastic 10/10 we both really enjoyed it great visuals and some killer LFE parts, thanks for the recomendation.
  3. good price! wish i could get em in australia that price
  4. what do you guys think of WallE? is it worth getting on blu ray?
  5. going to have to check out the panda i have not seen it yet, i know what you mean by opening dark night scene i like when the 2 guys slide down the rope to the roof top great LFE sounds
  6. well said Chapman, as i have said in previous posts the 83's and a 12in sub would be more than anyone could handle, and sound amazing.

    Bi-Wire

thats crazy! the guy you spoke to has no idea, you will only get benifit from biwiring if you use active crossovers, and as for doubleing your power thats not right it just chewing up amp power and running it hotter, my 2 cents []
  8. well for me its (im guessing everyone has heard this a million times but anyway), ....... yep Transformers, when the transformer shoots his cannons into the ground to jump over the girl and the sub HZ goes down to crazy [:|] single didgits. WOW!
  9. can you use the playstation blu ray with these remotes???
  10. i think you have it on 5.1ch or a dolby setting you need to be playing music through the stereo setting, (your center should have no sound coming through) just the 2 fronts and sub if you run a full surround setting like 5.1 it wont get half as loud as the stereo setting
  11. 7' is probly a touch high, but seems though its so close to your ear it might not be a bad idea that high, i would face them down towards you though, and definitly bring down those side speakers to at least 6' or so.
  12. i always wondered why the first scene in the movie was full screan on my lcd then it changes to 2:35:1 as you say, very dumb idea! i know some scenes were shot with IMAX cameras and some with normal 35's maybe thats why? thanks for your help, the panny seems to me to be the best quallity in its price range i know its the quietest one as i looked at all their DB levels.
  13. ok cool, can you tell me more about 16:9 and your screen 2:35:1, are you happy with your screen and projector, is their anything you would change about the 2, like bigger smaller or different brand? thanks
  14. hi mate just on this note i think you shoud try and get them now, the 63's that is as i have found and every other person on here says the upgrade bug hits fast, get as much speaker as you can afford, and as for your last speaker purchase ever i don't think it will be, you will want the 83's in no time[] and as for your amp personaly i would go with the Onkyo as i'm not too sure about the pioneer but im fairly sure in their entry range they use tin heat fins which turned me off but the Onkyo im sure uses cast alloy which desperses the heat better but im sure someone else might be able to tellyou more about the 2 receivers
  15. does anyone know (proberly youthman) in the panasonic range whats the difference bettween the PT-AE3000u, 3000e, 3000c im just starting to look into them at this stage
  16. haha, i would trick all my mates with the 40" plasma start the movie then say just kiddin, boom drop down that big 103" and watch their faces haha,
  17. hi and welcome, i have not heard of the new 1910 i know the 1909 is the same as my 789 just the US version the 1909 and the 789 are rated as follows 90watts x 7, 20 Hz – 20 kHz, 8ohms @ 0.08% THD 120watts x 7, 1 kHz, 6ohms, 0.7% THD i would say the 1910 is the same, see denon always put their lowest wattage output first with the smallest amount of THD% so it really depend on how you look at it, and yes it will run tose speakers just fine, i love my 789. bailz
  18. loud yes as youthman said but quality not so sure? i thought A and B were for 2 zones ( areas ) not 2 sets of fronts? i would look into that to make sure you can, music is meant to be listened to in 2ch, let me put it this way, you will be waisting your money running 4 towers in that size room, 2 83's and the 12in sub would be loud as anyone could handle, and much better quality sound, good luck
  19. welcome uts, let us know how you go with the 82, i dont think many of us have pioneer amps cant wait to hear what you think of it
  20. wuzzzer, cant wait to hear your feedback on the marantz, when i brought my denon i was deciding bettween the two, in the store they had a top end marantz playing 2ch through JAMO speakers and let me tell you it was amazing, there are so many HDMI ports in this one and also i have seen some marantz receivers with 2 HDMI outputs, what the??? does this one have that i cant really tell by this pic? and whats it for? SR7001 THX Select2 Surround Sound A/V Receiver $1399.99 still $1399.99 on their site
