I like Martin Logans.. Only heard them once.. it was ike 6,000 a pair, being drivin by a..... almost wanna say Mcintosh Amp, but I think I would be wrong. I like how the sound comes from both directions. Also, they arnt ment realy to doi low frequencies.. from what I was told, thats why they usualy have a subwoofer built in with them. Oh ya, I think you would be happy with the preformance sound, and the Klipsch speakers are probobly more effeciant also, so they would get louder with out sounding real bad... Just dont max it out, keep it in the low red if you have it... if there is a RED. or if its numberd, keep it 3-4 away from the highest. Go by your price range: Floorstanding (all MSRP): SF-1 = 500 SF-2 = 650 RF-3 = 800 Bookshelf (MSRP): SB-1 = 250 SB-2 = 350 SB-3 = 450 RB-3 = 650 RB-5 = 800 Heres an alternative.... go to Ebay. Bid on a pair of heresys... you could probobly pick up a pair for 500-700. Those would run great, and sound great. I love Heresys if you cant tell.... lol, ya. I was thinking about it some more..... and it might have been because I was using 2 Y adapters... to make a long story short, I had the left and right signal joined into one, sent to the Pro's, sent back split into 2, and back to the AMp.. I think that might have done it............... (figured this after I asked my question on having the Heresys on A and B switch and getting Boas answer) Well, I let it sit, about an hour or so, didnt work, tried it when I went back the next time (had been unplugeD) didnt work... I guess, if he wants to next time, we can take his paper work on it, open it up.... and figure out whats wrong with it. On him upgrading he wants to get some nice speakers.. after I dragged him to HillCrest Hi Fi... So after that, (he'll be getting a new Amp to... I think he will need one....) I get his Kenwood speakers (which.. arnt that bad and powerful.. 150 watt ) and his Kenwood Amp, which will hopeflly be fixable. Thats it then Thats how I messed up my dads kenwood. I was doing some funky wiring, dont wanna get into it.. to get my Pro Medias hooked up. The Pros played fine, at low vol, because of theyer amp, but his speakers, werent loud at all.... so I kept turning it up. Till the lights on the sytem blinked.... and went away. The red light, that says its on stand by, or what ever still works, just......... none of the others, nothing happens when you turn it on. Any advice on how to fix it? VERY cool. But I would go with a Wireless Network with 3-4 Laptops. But by the time I can do it..... Laptops will be more powerful than the most powrful desktops mow. And wireless networks will be alot better.... What happens when you put the Red wire in the Black output, and the Black wire in the Red output on the back of the Amp? I think that is what I accidently did with my dads amp, and I think thats how I messed it up. What does that Do exactly? Explain please. Hey Justin. If a full 5.1 setup isnt real important to you. You may wanna look into getting a Good Yamaha Stereo(or another brand) Amp, with A and B swtiches, for 4 speakers... Get 2 Pairs of Klipsch Heresys off Ebay for about 400-700 bucks. Hook 1 pair up to the A switch, one to the B switch. The speakers all together shouldnt cost you much more than the whole Synergy 6 system.. and will give you ALOT better quality, just with out a 5.1 setup. Personaly, I would take this over the Synergys. ViV unfortionaly I dont know enough about Accoustic Deisign speakers.... someday I will. But as you said, justin you should go check them out, if you like them, go for it.. its a nice setup. As for the Television, its all up to Personal Preference realy, and the wallet... Good Amps.. Look at Yamaha for your Price Level. You can get a Stand along amp.. it just amplifys the signal and has all the inputs and stuff. Thanks G. for that information.. I feel smarter I'll probobly end up having to read over it a few mor times to, know I understand it, but I think I got it. Thanks guys for the Help.. I got another question on the way but for another topic. As for the Love life thing. I almost ended it.. earlier this week, she was thinking about it, and i was hurt by a few things.... and hadnt completely gotten over it. She is realy attached to me.. she is the type of girl, where.. every month so far has been REALY important (Today was our 6 month aniversery) And the litting things and such are real important to her.. which is Totaly alright. But after everything... I wasnt sure if I could realy carry on like before. We could easily talk about, sex, jobs, school, kids, the future, ect.. but... i'm just easy about talking about things I guess. One thing you must know about me.... is that.. i'm the closest thing to a woman, being a guy, without being totaly gay.... understand? I got the emotional thing going on, very understanding and carrying. I am a very Empathetic person (even though I cant spell it). But I'm also very tough... I can punch brick walls multiple times.. and be ok, and enjoy it.. Have a Green Belt in a FreeStyle Mixed Martial Arts, (5'7" 150 punds... going aginst, adults.. about.. close enough to twice my size with theyer muscle content.... and sometimes winning I basicaly wanted to end it for her. I didnt think I could live it out with her.. and she needed someone, and I knew it would just end some day any wayz..... so better now. well.. we talked about it more... she called last at night when she got off line... We decided to try alittle longer.. and see what happend. If I still felt this way, we would break if off... Just, if we ended it then, she would have felt it was all her fault. Today we went to the Lake/park, ate.... and..... nm... Then we went back to her house.. wam and..... nm... Then went to eat soem Pasta... Then came back to my house for about an hour and a half.. and....... nm. Then we took her home. (Icant drive.. yet.... we rely on parents) Dont get me wrong, she's a great girl. I care for her alot.
