Not to rain on the parade, but this won't magically regain any of the data lost when the songs were initially made 128.

The answer is clearly to crank it even further.

What am I missing here? Soldering is ridiculously easy. You're not going to destroy anything.

This aggression will not stand, man.

I have found that rubbing I Can't Believe It's Not Butter onto one's CDs with cheesecloth does wonders for the dynamics.

HMMM… I guess that I’m the only one that just doesn’t find “alleged” child molestation humorous in any way shape or form.
Mocking the man and the institution does nothing to denigrate the alleged victims. And by the way, say what you will about Jerry Sandusky, but he always drives slowly through a school zone.

I think it noteworthy that MENSA (the genius organization) has a disproportionate number of lefties amongst their membership.
Indeed.

Showing my ignorance: what's the difference between multi-channel and home theater? Really, I don't know diddley about either. Thanks.
In this context, "home theater" pertains to surround-sound film soundtracks, while "multi-channel" pertains to music mixed in 5.1 channels rather than stereo (2 channels).

It's tv, therefore it's incredibly compressed! They do have some cool stuff though. They air the only existent HD version of McCartney's live in NY concert. DVR'd that one.

With all that I'm shocked you're still bothering with DVDs.

The bass is so intense it knocked your picture askew.
