Wondering if anyone has an idea as to how much these are selling for these days if you can find one?
  2. Correct, it's the ports size (OD) thats an issue plus its a press fit with numerous little flanges around it. That exact port diameter is what I can't locate, if I could I'd just hack saw it to length. Great Idea you have ie bristol board etc.......
  3. My 20's and 30's are still in one piece but I'm missing 3 of 4 the ports on the 30's (fell out during move). Called Klipsch and just about everywhere to try and rig something up but nothing as they're slightly different.
  4. Is there a mobile version of our forum ?
  5. I'm in the final approach of design of new HT room. Looking for feedback on something I've been pondering Instead of using my 30's for fronts is it worth using the Cornwalls instead and use the 30's for rear and The 20's for rear surround. Just trying to save Another back injury so thought I'd fire the question To the pro's Thank you
  6. I'm in need of some more SPL and was hoping for some ideas from all the knowledge here. I'm thinking I'd likely have to ditch the 905 to get any more power so what do you all suggest ???
  7. Splitting up with my ex and not picking up my audio equipment in a timely fashion which oddly enough gave her/it the impression I didn't want it. Sansui 8080DB, an Audio Control "Phase Coupled Activator", a Marantz (made in California) pre amp. Fortunately when she/it and her new ride went to pick the stuff up they noticed that the surrounds on my EV Interface C's had turned to dust and left them...
  8. More than please with my 20's and the 30's.....
  9. Being low voltage I didn't think there was an in wall rating ? As for the termination kits, one does not require a 120v electrical box to terminate with the banana plug kits etc.
  10. Anyone have experience with "copper clad aluminum speaker wire ? Back when I was into 12v Car audio this was unheard of so I'm in the process of prewiring my HT room and looking at some 12 gauge that is as mentioned copper clad aluminum wire ? Any thoughts or experiences ? Thanks...
  11. I just listened to the 1st 3 disc's in the new WYWH Immersion set and was / am very impressed. My question is has anyone here had the chance to compare the Immersion set to the new SACD ? If so what are your thoughts, is it worth another $35.00 ?
  12. Agree with the finding the best sub location and I still move them from time to time. Currently they are both right behind my couch. Kind of enjoy having to hang on to something to prevent being fired across the room.....
  13. Compared to todays equipment SIZE is with out doubt a huge issue "pardon the pun". My HT currently consumes the entire living room and I have to sneak around my couch. Fortunately I have no females to report to at this time so I can get away with it. Should this not be the case there's no way I;'d get away with it. I've heard many sound systems both 120v and 12v after 20+ years in car audio but I can't speak highly enough of my current set up. Upon intial set up, a buddy let me borrow a Bluray Batman movie which I popped into the PS3 after following my vacuum cleaner around the living room. Started watching the movie (first Bluray ever) and when the first round of action/bottom end kicked in I almost got fired off the couch, went to retrieve another beverage from fridge and noticed some white particles on the freshly vacuumed floor. It was the stuco from the ceiling. I cracked the ceiling through the cement/plaster crown moulding and it snaked for another 7'. Can't complain about these speaker ! !
  14. Have you ever taken the KSW 15's for a test drive ? They're a hard find but I LOVE my 2.
