  1. I set up a HT at my dads house with klipsch and yamaha. Sounds great to us. I will add that I have heard the 82's SMS the 62's and I feel the 62's are the best bang for your buck from klipsch RF line. They share the same tweeter and most people cross over at 80hz anyway. You'll get more bass from the 82's but if you have a sub it won't matter.
  2. I'm guessing that for $550.... Adding an external amp or sub upgrade might net you more returns. However.... Depending upon what you can sell your 35's for.
  3. I am also curious about this. Basically klipsch keeps coming out with new RF models but most remain the same as far as design. You know 2 8 inch drivers ect. I would love to hear these side by side.
  4. I can see your thinkin' but you don't have 7's? I can tell you that an $800 or maybe $600 rsw 15 will put two rw-12d's(maybe $700) to shame in real quality of sound, of course ymmv? Cant speak for the rsw-15... but $800 can buy you alot of sub from eD, Rythmik, and Epik.
  5. I can't even tell what Im looking at here. Not the sub but the front 3 speakers. Looks like a Lascala and 3 cornwal's or Heresy's maybe, and one of the cornwal's looks to be on a cabinet with a drawer in it? [*-)] Can you shed some light on your setup? looks intresting. thx
  6. seriously that setup looks like it could be perfect for towers. Your sub will have to go out back though and where do you plan to put the center speaker?
  7. I would keep the front 3 and upgrade the sub. The sub is your choice but IMO the sub and center is the most important speaker in your system.
  8. Yup.... I'm think A7-450 is fridge size right?
  9. IB sub's..... Any suggestion on drivers and amps?
  10. Never heard the rc-35, but I didn't like my rc-52 at all. I would swap to the rc-35 if I was you. Nothing to lose imo
  11. I have never used anything but a ported sub. You guys have me wanting to try a sealed one. Right now I have 2 A5-350's and my plan is to add a 3rd sub. The plan was another ported sub.... Hmmm.
  12. He tigerman. I'm in holyoke myself. Did u get flooded during the "hurricane" or something else get you?
  13. when you sold your stock in best buy did you turn around and invest in some home delivery service? [] My wife swears UPS and or Fedex is our house everyday! I do 95% of ALL my shopping (except food) online.
  14. Newegg often has the rw 10d on sale for $200 and the 12d for $300. Never heard them myself but I did like my synergy sub 12.
  15. Do it right and it may not decrease the resale value.
  16. Almost no space at all. Emo says you can stack 3 high right. So that means that not only is 3/4 inch clearence ok but you can sandwhich an amp in between 2 other amps (which would melt last years Onkyo's BTW). I personally have about 1/3 inch clearence on the sides and about 5 inches overhead. Also If you are having heating issues with the PS3 just buy the fan unit that madcatz sells. It attaches right to the back of the PS3 and has 2 mini fans in it.Works good for me.
  17. Im selling a very nice onklyo HT RC180 for $320 shipped right now. Perfect condition and 110watts per channel. It's in the garage sale section if your intrested. MSRP was $1100 when it first came out.
  18. I have seen them on ebay sold in pairs from time to time. If you get desperate I have a pair of HD300's I could sell you cheap. Perfect condition.
  19. What about the ULS-15? I'm seriously thinking about 2 of those. Anyone have a review?
  20. well Nezff, Brunt, and myself are all getting A7-450's here shortly. Nezff are slightly custom with the size of the cabinets I think. We can let you know how they sound.
  21. well it's your house for asthetics but im sure the sound will be fine.
  22. Honestly that Polk is a great sub for the money.
