Hello, I’m looking for a pair of tweeters and horns for my 1977 Cornwalls. Let me know if you have a pair you’d like to get rid of. I’m located in Canada.
  2. I seem to recall some at the top of the speaker as well I just can’t remember if it was part on the top then the rest down the sides?
  3. I removed the foam to work on them a couple of years ago and am coming back to the project but I don’t recall how the foam was placed inside. Any help is appreciated.
  4. If so, could you provide me with accurate measurements of the outside of the cabinet as well as the measurements between the tweeter and the top and between the tweeter and midrange? cheers!
  5. I sent you a message, I will take the b3 networks.
  6. Well, I guess there's one example out of a million.
  7. It actually sounds like a fun project but I wouldn't put too much money into or expect it to be hifi.
  8. Itunes apparently uses a lossless file format so no information should be missing but when I compared it to the cd version of the same song I found it lacking enough to never want to pay for another itunes song again.
  9. Check out this link gang, lots of great stuff including cheap titanium mid diaphragms........... http://www.ebay.com/sch/gtact1/m.html?item=300764651950&pt=US_Speaker_Parts_Components&hash=item4606f861ae&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562
  10. No, I don't think, even with the upgrades, that the forte will equal the Cornwall. However, if I was pressed for room I could easily live with the forte. My Cornies are stock and my forte II's have new xovers and titanium tweeter and midrange diaphragms and I still much prefer the Cornwalls.
  11. Forget the Paradigms and look for some vintage Klipsch (forte, Chorus, Cornwall). If you have some more bucks and lots of room look for Lascalas and Klipschorns.
  12. One thing to consider is that the add is in Southern Manitoba where big vintage Klipsch are beyond RARE (I know, I live here). Considering that I still think the price is a little high but I would offer him $1000 and go from there.
