I would love these and I live just outside of Knoxville. But, I’m trying to sale a pair of KG 5.5’s. Not sure I’ll have them sold by this weekend.

These are amazing sounding speakers. Two 10” woofers with Klipsch’s classic horn. These speakers are great for Home Theater and two channel listening. No need for a subwoofer. Also, these are very efficient don’t need a lot of power to get really loud. If you know about Klipsch speakers you know this is a good deal. They sell on eBay for $700 - $800. They are in excellent shape with no scratches. They are large speakers weighing about 70 lbs. I WILL NOT SHIP. Must be picked up. Freq. 34 hz to 20,000 kHz. I would consider trades of Klipsch KG 4’s or some of equivalent value. No low ballers. These have been braced and new capacitors installed.

Would you sell just the speakers and if so, how much?

Where are you located? The Center speakers appears to be an academy.

I have two Forte I’s for my front and a Hersey II (KP-201) for my center. Works great. Same horns and driver. Hersey’s are great for centers, good at clarity for voice and everything in movies.

Nice, I'm looking at getting Quartet for a center. I'm thinking is should match fairly well. Thoughts?
That should work well. I’ve tried a lot of different centers. I think I’ve had three different Klipsch centers. And the Hersey is excellent for dialogue. Good clean sound and clear. It really helps me understand the words.

I have two Forte I’s. With a Hersey l as a center. And two Hersey’s for surround. Sounds amazing.

It’s pretty cool how the paper still looks new. Hasn’t be aged by the light.

In the mid 80’s I worked at a printing company in Little Rock AR that did all the printing, ads and brochures for Klipsch. I remember this booklet. And yes that is just another Hersey with a cane grill.

I have 3 HP-SR70’s made by Klipsch for John Allen. The have the same tweeter, Midrange and a beefier woofer.

Is this in addition to the Pilgrimaged or in place of it? I’m interested but would not be bringing and hear.

I would add Phil Keaggy he’s mainly been in the Christian market. But he has some amazing instrumental albums both electric and acoustic.

One thing I’ve noticed over the years is that “the most important speaker in a 5.1, 7.1, 9.1 11.1 etc is always the center channel”. More sound is concentrated through the center speakers than the others.

Chorus II Crossovers
in Technical/Restorations
Posted
I replaced the coil and one of the capacitors. It was the coil for the tweeter that wasn’t working. Replaced it and everything works. Thanks for the input. Still might buy two Chorus II crossovers if they ever come up for the right price.
