Same here I have chorus II same color as my 92s k-horns. The only thing holds me back the 92s is the condition compare to 85s. 85s is in pristine condition!

I just acquired another Klipschorns from trade. One of my friend want to buy the other one. So I don't know which one to keep? 1985 khorns 10/10 condition ak-2 crossover or 1993 khorns 9/10 condition ak-3 crossover Both same color oak finish. So what's the different between with ak-3 crossover and ak-2 crossover? And which is the best or worst year of Klipschorns? Thanks in advance!

Sound quality is my main goal that's why I want to try bi-amp. Separating the high/mids and low. Not sure about the slope but the frequencies are 100, 200, 400, 700, 1200, 2000 and 3500 CPS. I bought all the Heathkit gear from a reputable tech. It's part of his collection. So everything has been restored and upgraded. Heathkit is his favorite gear!

Yah I love the color too. I just want to try the bi-amp if there will be a sound different. Cut-Throat said he did his and made a nice improvement. I'll keep posted once I get all the Heathkit set.

Thanks for all the reply! The Heathkit I'm planning to buy comes with Heathkit x-over (X0-1) but Since there's no big different to bi-amp the k-horn probably I won't do it. I just thought that there will be more sound quality and distribution.

I just got Klipschorn (finally) is anybody here have an experience bi-amping it? Is it better? And also I'm planning to buy a set of heathkit amplifier planning to pair it with klipschorn. Anybody here had an experience on Heatkit W6M and UA-1? Thanks in advance!
