  1. I saw this new Audigy 2 ZS support DTS-ES. How's the performance? any sound differences from DD5.1? If not, I'm thinking to buy Audigy 2 ZS. I'm lazy to plug the wires to DD5.1 everytime I want to watch DVDs (using DD5.1 with my computer)
  2. I have Promedia 4.1. I've been using DD5.1 for almost a year and yesterday I realized that I need a lot of BASS When I'm using the sounds from the sound card (Audigy 2), I can hear enough bass. How can I configured the bass as loud like when I'm not using DD5.1? I'm thinking to get myself Pioneer to replace my Promedia 4.1 + DD5.1 becoz to this
  3. I doubt nforce2 sound card beat Audigy 2 and the DICE thing... I read the review, it didn't sound well
  4. I turn on my DD5.1 at -2 (main volume) and my Promedia 4.1 at about 80% when watching movies
  5. Most today receiver support DTS, Dolby, etc. A good receiver price isn't expensive
  6. I used monster cables from Klipsch. I noticed the mid sound quality is increasing Worthed or not? hmm.. if you have some spare money, why not?
  7. Can't do that unless you plug the speakers connector to the card (not into DD5.1)
  8. Wait until Doom III released. You will feel glad that you have DD5.1
  9. It's better to play games with EAX without DD5.1 becoz DD5.1 will detect EAX signal as 'Stereo' signal. Wait for Doom III which support Dolby Digital 5.1. Must be sounds very nice with DD5.1
  10. you need a mini mono cable - RCA
  11. PowerDVD can encode DTS/Dolby but using DD5.1 is WAY MUCH BETTER. You miss a lot of sounds watching DVD with PowerDVD I used Klipsch monster cables and noticed mid improvement
  12. Here's what happened when I was using Santa Cruz: when I plugged the cable from Versajack to DD5.1, DD5.1 display DTS (depending on what DVD you are playing) BUT as soon as I plugged the speakers cables to DD5.1 --> 'Unknown Input'. Of course there was no sound. It didn't happen with SB Audigy
  13. Justin: me? kidding? of course not. I only said what I've read on the review. In my country, there almost no one buy AE and with no local distributor support that card, who wants to buy it? Perhaps we can make a poll, What sound card is the best today? Me choose Santa Cruz (too bad can't work with DD5.1)
  14. Don't know about Acoustic Edge but I read on many reviews that the card isn't too good
