  1. The last TV I purchased was a Samsung Curved 4k  and I am very happy with it. If I were to get another TV tomorrow it would be a Sumsung 4k again. The upscaling is very good , I would not however pay extra for the curved , I believe the screen would need to be enormous for the curve to be of any real benefit. FWIW until recently I saw a dozen or so different TV's on a daily basis .

It would be great to have a small gtg.  I've enjoyed all the ones that I have been to in the Chicagoland area.  Being the only one in NW Indiana, I never thought there was much interest even though I'm only 30 min. from downtown Chicago.  I would have to pick a weekend when I could get the wife out of the house, lo..

You know what they say , Build it and they will come .

You have enough subs alone to keep us entertained B)

  3. I'm Guessing this is the system "Ram Sound" was selling in 2012 and just like Bob He seems to want to sell it all at once. I Emailed him about splitting it up and he didn't seem interested .  Bob was leaning towards splitting it up towards the end and even quoted me price for a pair with dollies , cables , and covers but found someone at the last minute to take the whole setup .

Please forgive me for asking a question I'm sure has already been asked, but why doesn't Klipsch offer a horn-loaded sub for home audio?

    Well, there's THIS.

I have to say something about that sub, the 1802. For the last 4 days we have been listening to one of these at a friends house, kharmondds is his forum name.

Kevin put one between Jubes, we drug it in and set it up last Friday, moved the 684's out, then we were shocked at how powerful and clean it is. It's big but if there is space it's amazing.

The 1802 replaced a PAIR of KPT-684's, that's one 18" driver replacing 4 18" drivers, and it blew the 684's away easily. Horn loaded, done well is amazing.

After a few days we were still in shock at the performance, the other part is it blends in perfectly with the horn loaded main speakers.

Unless I heard wrong there is a "rumor" that they may be other horn subs coming later, I would guess none will be small considering the design, but there are very impressive.

I really want to experience that sub  :D

"Dislike" is bound to stir the pot worse than you've already seen it stirred.

    Agree wholeheartedly with this....

As much as I hate to agree with Jim that would be a nightmare

But of course if you go that way a BS button would be more appropriate

Those that think a persons post count reflects their knowledge or "value" are WRONG there are definitely people here with high post counts that spout BS consistently . If you post you should be able to defend your post or at least state that its an educated guess or only your opinion ! If you don't have the backbone to back up your remarks , you probably don't have the backbone to pick up a Klipsch Speaker ( which are usualy big and heavy) anyhow  :D  People ask for advise here regularly, with the great forum members here and the vast knowledge available they usually get several answers. Unfortunately many are wrong and the ones that call out the BS are doing the community a favor !

I for one don't have the patience and rarely have the knowledge to do so.

Oh and of course this is only My opinion

Just saw the voting thing I respectfully think this is a bad idea as well.

Do you want to provide education and information or do you want to find out who is the most popular.

Having said that I understand the fellowship is just as important to most of us .

Jeez just reread this and it appears I have a problem with Jim . I met him and several members at a get together once and met some really great people including Jim . Only problem I have with Jim is he left with an amp of his that I wanted to permanently borrow .
