  1. Low voltage can be a sign of an improper neutral (white wire) connection. Either loose or mis-wiring in the main box or an outlet. Please have this check by a someone who has experience troubleshooting this type of thing. I see you are renting, let the land lord know as soon as you can. Yes, there is a chance this could cause a fire and / or damage your electronic devices. Brian
  2. I liked the subwoofer section. I don't have one now, but considering one in the future, THT or Rythmik. If we move to a different house, maybe an IB
  3. BTW, thanks to HudsonValleyNoah for picture posting info
  4. Grills are in good shape considering I used to take them outside frequently
  5. Drivers are in good shape
  6. Crossover with new attenuator and cap
  7. My wife and I are in the process of cleaning my father's house, since he can no longer stay there alone. We were cleaning out one of the bedroom closets where under a blanket was my first speaker project. A older friend had purchased plans for a Speakerlab-K, so I thought why not build some speakers for myself. Being a teenager, I couldn't afford the "K", so I started at the other end. I bought the kit and assembled them myself, my dad probably helped []. You can tell a teenager stapled the grill cloth..... I brought them home and checked them out. After I got all the caulk off, everything appeared to be in good shape I did a little crossover work, new attenuators and caps. I didn't spend much because I have a La Scala project that I am saving up to start soon. I still need to get some hardware to reassemble the drivers to the cabinet. This little project brought back good memories and why I have enjoyed audio and electronics. Used Watco Rejuneating Oil on the cabinets
  8. That would be helpful. I am looking for a possible K55 replacement for a La Scala project I am starting soon. Thanks
  9. Another lurker's money sent, thanks for letting us know []
