My wife and I are in the process of cleaning my father's house, since he can no longer stay there alone. We were cleaning out one of the bedroom closets where under a blanket was my first speaker project. A older friend had purchased plans for a Speakerlab-K, so I thought why not build some speakers for myself. Being a teenager, I couldn't afford the "K", so I started at the other end. I bought the kit and assembled them myself, my dad probably helped []. You can tell a teenager stapled the grill cloth..... I brought them home and checked them out. After I got all the caulk off, everything appeared to be in good shape I did a little crossover work, new attenuators and caps. I didn't spend much because I have a La Scala project that I am saving up to start soon. I still need to get some hardware to reassemble the drivers to the cabinet. This little project brought back good memories and why I have enjoyed audio and electronics. Used Watco Rejuneating Oil on the cabinets
