  1. There is truth to this. The most effected are overweight, diabetic, known heart problems among the elderly. These are generally things a better life style avoids and really this is something we all should be doing in any case.
  2. Well I for one am not taking anything. Why would I take something for a virus I don't have and won't have? IF I ever do get it I will most certainly demand what my President Trump is safely taking. Now I just have to bet the Doctor he has is FAR more qualified than any you or I will ever see. Why are you so dead set against something that has been proven by so many on the front lines fighting this? [Personal remarks removed]
  3. I put them on the 402's in my s-MWM system and what you say is what I heard. However the resonance of the deeper Cello notes the 1132 driver had was not there and deeper notes were shallower. I have since taken them off becaase I just have flat out not had time to fool with dialing them in. I have great hopes for them though especially in smaller horns like the EBay 18 x 10 where it sounded pretty darned good without DSP.
  4. This is the same thing the mainstream media did during the Vietnam War. Every day there was a new death count and stories of them abounded. The media lost that war for the USA by generating enough public opinion against it to end it. In the mean time drunk driving killed way more each year. I am not talking about whether we should have been there or not mind you so don't get distracted. I am talking about main stream media's ability and desire to mold public opinion and not report on news only. So today you see the fake news talk about how "mygosh you know there is enough people dead from Covid 1984 to populate a 60,000 small city and then name one that many might know to make it personal. They DON'T put it in perspective because they are part of the remove the Constitutional limits on what the Government can do to citizens. 329,674,871 was today's population count. Lets make this easy and say 100,000 die. WOW man that's like three times the population of Giles County!!! A logical person would say OK but what does that really mean? What it means is that you have a one in 3,296 chance of dying of this. You will inevitably die and it will statistically be from just about anything but wuhan Covid 1984. Then you look at the average age of death from wuhan is what, 75 last time I saw figures. Then we as logical people would also look further and see that those older at risk people were mostly at deaths door with other serious life threatening problems. So if we factor in real life numbers is your risk of death from wuhan Covid 1984 (I so love that 1984 bit but sadly I did not come up with it) is what? I think it is probably less than 1 out of 300,000 for healthy normal people. Now before you hyperventilate over that consider the conditions I laid out for consideration and prove me wrong. I am not going to dig around for all the precise answers when common sense say's I don't need to. The answers are there for all to see if you care to examine the reality and jettison the hyperbole. In Tennessee last time I saw numbers it was a death rate of 3.2 per 100,000 in Nashville which was DEATH ZONE CENTRAL [great stuff here but mixed media with political] The real way to report this outside of pure fear mongering and click bait is to say x out of x died from this and here is the break [unfortunately morphed into politics] The media just went insane after [great stuff here, key point but mixed media with political]
  5. I think the problem is you moved from CA to wannabe CA.
  6. [Bare link, no intro, no outro, just a link, to a political online publication and the link had right in it "political"]
  7. I was not aware of that and the article I read did not mention this.
  8. Two of us had downloaded the latest Dell audio updates. I am betting both of us were also updating Win 10 at the same time. This MS update causes trouble with Realtex sound cards and if you suffer from this I think a complete re-install of the driver from the Realtex site is the way to go. Fixed my problem completely. I was blaming Dell at first but no it is those wonderful people from MS. https://www.windowslatest.com/2020/05/17/windows-10-kb4556799-issues/
  9. It clearly was an indicator that the collected data was in part bogus though. I do think in part it was responsible for forcing them to look at how they were collecting data.
  10. Answer: 1000 times, they were each paid $1,000 to be tested (they also have to vote 50 times, but that's a story for a different time. There are really only 1,000 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the US, but I really, really needed $1,200. Turns out I don't even get the $1,200 and so I'm really upset with whomever set the thresholds. It's not what was agreed to when Bill called Warren to sort this all out. Maybe they will get it worked this summer at Bohemian Grove. So is that really your answer to what Virginia has been caught doing?
  11. Yes and neither is being an actual citizen nor should there be any limits on how many times an individual votes and residency requirements not needed either. Seems to be a problem with one group only.
  12. The noise happens when the mouse is in use and being moved around. No to ferrite core and that never occurred to me to do.
  13. I am skeptical of those numbers for this reason. The case in Colorado where the guy died of acute alcohol poisoning but was counted as wuhan. They went back and reassessed the data and the numbers of wuhan deaths dropped. CDC also had a co-morbidity chart where the numbers of deaths from wuhan were dropped a lot and a category created where people with things that were going to kill them anyway in short order died a bit sooner. This category listed wuhan as a contributing factor, which it was, and not the main factor which it was not. The chart is posted here but probably many pages back now. The final thing that makes me doubt all the numbers is human behavior. Since I can't get real bullet proof info I have to watch the actions of many of those who are crying wolf. They are getting caught breaking their own quarantines and not wearing face masks as soon as the camera is turned away. Haircuts for me but not for thee is another one I see. The Health dude from PA for instance would not be acting this way, I sincerely hope, if he felt he was in peril for his life from this pandemic. I hear the words but I don't see committed personal actions from many of these people that tell me they are worried. Stuff just does not add up to me and only time will tell which of us was closer to the truth. The House for instance is shut down but they are surely just as critical as cops and firemen and Senators all of whom are not shut down. If they really took this wuhan thing seriously, and as American leaders were worried about it, why are they not doing better at fighting this with focused like a laser legislation to fight just wuhan. Instead it is everything from concert halls to Harvard while the hospitals they shut down for the onslaught of disease that quite clearly is not going to happen go bankrupt and or are laying off gobs of personnel. They just don't show me they believe this is serious.
  14. The problem with testing is will it be honest testing. Remember in Virginia right now, or at least it was this way last week, if a person tested positive for wuhan they could test the same person again if more than 24hrs had passed and count it as a new occurance. How many times will they count one individual case as a number of them. How do you trust a state that does this to be honest ever again regarding wuhan?
  15. Well the evidence is piling up that this is no worse than the flu can be.
  16. Speaking of masks on a humorous note. I figure the way to end mask wearing is to pass out a bunch with Trump and the American flag on there and get Trump to endorse them. The media will have to start saying don't wear masks then.
  17. The idly curious with nothing immediate to do care. I imagine in this case that's true. I just wanted to see one to have a look at what $5 would buy.
  18. Travis since you seem to have read up on this did Polio have a rapid mutation potential or did this remain the same over time so an effective vaccine could work over time. My understanding of flu shots is that they are attempts to fight what they think will be the next new strain of virus and the efficacy varies from year to year. And you have to get them every year it seems so not really a vaccine like I think of the one for Polio being. How are they ever going to have a true vaccine for wuhan that will accomodate mutation?
  19. Seriously folks [Removed, Brietbart, seriously?]
  20. OK where are you finding diaphragms for $5 each?
  21. My friends wife played in the Huntsville Symphony and he says they hit over 100db all the time on stage.
  22. The wireless mouse worked for you? It is on my list of things to do although not high up on it since I can just flip the corded mouse over. Between flipping the mouse over and using the ssd drive those background noises are gone as far as I can tell.
  23. Have you informed Google, Facebook ,Twitter and collegiate academia of this startling idea yet? They seem to not be aware of this.
  24. So do you have a link that is not behind a fake news paywall?
  25. You would think sound would be an exact science by now subject to measuring and analysis with predictable numbers but where would one go to find this holy grail?
