  2. Just listed: http://baltimore.craigslist.org/ele/4519246275.html
  3. Newbie question (I did search the Forum for this but didn't find the full answer): When did Klipsch make changes to their badges/logo over the years? When did the "Pie" shaped badge start & stop, and was there anything that preceded it? When were the "Laser" tags used? Thanks, Andy
  4. Well, I made a good bid but the Heresy H700s went for $751. I walk away empty-handed. If another pair of 1960's Heresy H700s shows up, that will be great. I'll keep looking. For now, I'll have to wait. Thanks to everyone for your advice. Best, Andy
  5. Thank you, William. Anyone: do you have any last advice before I bid? Best, Andy
  6. Thanks Budman & WmMcD for your comments and the spec sheets. Is there a reference history of the K-22 woofer designs through the years anywhere? Any idea if the crossover wiring in the eBay photos looks correct? Andy
  7. I'm very, very interested in these H700s and planning to bid. I unfortunately didn't see them until after the "Buy It Now" price of $470 was already gone (BIN option disappeared once the first bid was made). I've corresponded with the seller since the first day of the auction & he seems like a good guy. As a Newbie, these would be my first-ever Klipsch speakers. I'm attracted to them because they're early speakers and I would like to experience the original Klipsch Heresy sound. Also, they're located within driving distance from me here in New Hampshire. Here's the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251548915756?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Before I take the leap, I'd really appreciate comments and advice from Klipsch Community Forum members. My questions: 1. Are the drivers original and period-correct? 2. What would be a fair price to pay for me to pay for these? Thanks in advance! Best, Andy
  8. Listed on Craigslist here: http://nashville.craigslist.org/ele/4509259069.html Also listed on eBay here with $600 Buy It Now price: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-La-Scala-LSBR-Pair-Sequential-Serial-Numbers-Excellent-Sound-/151322112348?pt=Vintage_Electronics_R2&hash=item233b80315c
  9. On craigslist: http://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/msg/4508122168.html What is a Klipsch amp?
  10. As a newbie, I'd just like to say: - I'm impressed by your attention to detail, both the design and the cabinet construction. - The piano ebony finish is a great idea. Steinway Model M meets Klipsch meets Space Odyssey 2001 obelisk. - You live only 2,952 miles from my location. But that's about about 2,800 miles too far. Good luck with your sale! Best, Andy
  11. Thanks to all for the warm welcome! Boxx: "I don't always listen to speakers, but when I do, I listen to Klipsch. Stay thirsty, my friends." Coytee: I will ensure she knows. The eyes in the back of her head are already tired. Andy
  12. Not sure if this is right section of the Forum to do it, but just wanted to introduce myself. I''m interested in Klipsch's older speakers, so I joined today. My current interest is in LP records. It's been many years since I listened to them, and I'm enjoying returning to vinyl after many years. I don't have a pair of Klipsch's yet but plan to do so, and soon; I listen to A/D/S L810s at the moment. Fortunately our house has one room large enough to accommodate anything short of Klipschorns, and our kids love hearing "the music Mom and Dad grew up with." Anyway, just wanted to say "hi" and get started as I learn more about these excellent speakers. Best, Andy
