Afternoon all..... Another day of no work in the shop.....even the used car guys have nothing going on.... So......I'm not making any money, I might as well spend some.... Got a new set of rubber for the Pilot, went with some Continentals......I'm gonna mount & balance them and go home.... MKP :-)

I hear ya Mark.... These are good little trucks.... Mine has about 246k. It runs great, got a lil' lag in 2-3 upshift sometimes. I have to play with the throttle to get it to up-shift sometimes. I got this one from a customer about five years ago. with about 220k on it. I've been working on this truck since it had about 50k on it. Several years back he came to the shop with the check-eng light on. It was the good old cat code (P0420) in the ECU.... no big deal, we put a aftermarket cat on it and down the road he went.... that cat lasted about two years then it coded back up again. The next time we put a OEM Honda replacement cat on it and I told him it's good to go..... Well the Honda cat lasted just shy of two years and he had to have it towed in the shop cuz the cat converter melted down and clogged the exhaust system Now you don't have two cat failures in less than four years unless something is going on. I did a cylinder leak down test and found the exhaust valves are not seating properly. He didn't want to fix it so I bought the CRV from him. he was really happy that I wasn't fixing it to sell it, I always wanted one of those trucks. I'm just waiting for one of the exhaust valves to burn and I'll put another engine in it. Two years ago I rebuilt the suspension on it...... Just about everything as far as suspension was replaced. The springs are Old Man Emu from Australia... 1" lift Anyway..... love my little CRV MKP :-)

Most cool...... Grandkids are great....ya get to give them back to there parents Not really working today, just messing with my CRV. Replacing the front bumper and refinishing a headlight. Also had a bearing noise on the A/C idler pully....replaced the bearing in the pully, I'm not spending $50 on a pully....6 bucks on a new bearing MKP :-)

Morning all.... Looks like I got a bit of catching up to do..... Same ol` crapp going on..... We do have my grandsons birthday party tonight.....that should be good..... The BOSS and I did the grand parent thing this weekend, we took the kids to the Batman Lego movie. It was "ok".....the grandkids seemed to like it.....after that we took em to the Pancake House.....was a good Saturday. Back to work......check in later..... MKP :-)

Evening all... Just stopping by... trying to catch up on posts. Just crazy busy lately.... Still looking at trucks.... checked out a 06 Dodge Cummins crewcab after work... I just can't get over how much people want for these things.... i don't know, still looking Was a nice day, upper 60's.... got some snow coming in maybe Thursday. I'm just ready for it to be warm again. Had to buy firewood last week, just a cord.... I think that should get us through. Check in tomorrow... MKP :-)

I hear ya with the tooth thing Chuck.... I got one in the back that I need to get a new cap on it.....The cap fell off years ago and now it doen't fit. So my dentist has of make a new one. I did some cash work last week. Got me some tooth money lol lol... The BOSS and I went through some tooth issues years ago....In one year we put over 10K in our mouths.... man we were a mess. This all happened when our daughter was missing. To this day I say it was stress related..... MKP :-)

I shaved my head years ago......I got a ugly head, The BOSS said she never wants me to do that again..... I have so much hair and it's very thick but I still only shave once a week, sometimes every other week. Yes the hair is growing out of my ears and nose Coffee done.... I ate some rattle snake when I was in San Antonio TX back in my Army days. Came back from a flight and a couple of the guys killed the rattler and skind it. It was still moving with no skin on it...kinda freaky... they cooked it up with a bunch of C-rations. Couldn't really tell what it tasted like cuz of those nasty C-rations. But I did try it.... Needed some of OT's hot sauce outta "likes" ....... till tomorrow MKP :-)

Yes yes... granddaughter's birthday Was a good evening, she turned 12. She's really starting to come around, She lived with me and the BOSS for years while her mom was not doing good. But her mom has been back for the last 5+ years..... and she's doing GREAT... They all live with The BOSS's mom since The BOSS's dad past last January. All the kids came.... my son and his girlfriend, my youngest daughter..... we ate diner and did cake & ice cream..... was a good night and I got out of the shop MKP :-)

Bump for Jazzy1 Jazzy1 posted a few pics of his LaScalas. As per his edit, he lives in Ellicott City Md. Looks like this is a pick-up only deal. I'm sure Jazzy1 will send more pics to serious interested members. As I mentioned in my earlier post I found Jazzy1's LaScalas in a small trading paper. I'm just trying to help him out and the potential buyer. I have not seen or heard these speakers but I can go and check them out for forum members. I'm about 30-40 minutes from Ellicott City. Work out the deal with Jazzy1 and if your a "serious" potential buyer and you want me to have a look/listen at them shoot me a PM...... I'll work that out with Jazzy1. Good luck to all... MKP :-)

Morning all.... Were at the shop doing our thing.......BOSS is up front doing her BOSS things.....I'm in the bay on the forum Well The BOSS is on the internet looking at trucks for me/us...... I am so done with the p.o.s F-250. That thing has cost me more time than any vehicle I've owned..... But any half way decent truck is so much damn coin. Ya know I drive around town and see these young kids in these jacked-up newer F-350's Power Strokes or some big azz Dodge Cummins that mommy or daddy got for them.....and I don't mind telling ya........It irriates the chitt out of me!! ........ and here I sit trying to scrape some coin to get something that I don't have to fix every damn week, while "Jonny" that just graduated High school drives around in $60k+ truck that has just had $10k of accessories slapped on....oh yea and don't forget to cut the big holes through the bed for the BIG stupid stacks.....What the...... OK.... let me mop up tears and get to work, hey it's Friday and all is good in MKP & BOSS land A good day to all..... MKP :-)
