    NEW RSW-15

I agree the price is silly but how often does that happen where a person buys something like that and never opens it. I wish I had that kind of money. I feel if I did, I would not be that foolish.

    NEW RSW-15

http://m.ebay.com/itm/161510439537?nav=SEARCH To good to be true?
  3. Looks very nice! I really like the center speaker; very clean looking. How did you get that thing mounted up there without any exposed brackets? That whole cavity acts like a horn.
  4. That's a lot of work to move those big boys around! I've also been playing around with different configurations, hoping my wife won't notice! Lately I've reduced from 5.1 to 3.0 and I really like the full front sound stage without all the clutter. I know some people might question 7's as centers, but I've also really come to appreciate a strong center channel. Crazy? Maybe. But why not, if you can? Lucky for me that is the ONLY room I have 100% control over. I don't even get a say on the garage and where my tools go. I haven very curious about building the bigger front stage and like you said if you can try than why not.
  5. Lots to f&*k up too.Unless you are doing it for the novelty and "watch this Clem" effect, it's pretty lame. Nice gimmick, but has nothing to do with accurately reproducing natural sound. Shakey Yes, you are 100% correct! My apologies I forgot I was in the 2-channel section.
  6. Use them as big *** wides, build a bigger front stage since I prefer extended stereo music or use them as center channels. Lots to play around with.
  7. If you do end up selling the RF7s please think of me first. You did a good job getting to the seller before I could. I would love to put these next to my other RF7s. Thanks.
  8. I couldn't agree more with you about this mode of listening. I feel fully surround in music. I stopped using 2 channel mode.
  9. I had hear that as well but never experienced it. I just never liked any of the small subs I had because they never seemed to have enough bass for my taste. I also thought these sevo subs were tighter and had less distortion. But I have no idea because I can't find any good information or reviews on the F-1800, even on the AVS forums.
  10. That's a beast for sure. The RSW-15 is a pretty large sub....the F1800 makes it look small. I figured if anyone would appreciate a photo it would be you. I was surprised at how big it was. I can't wait to put it through the full tests tomorrow.
  11. So far in the first 5 minutes I am very impressed with this sub woofer. I need to play around more with it to be sure but it is out performing my RSW-15 with ease. Ugly as hell to look at but hits hard and digs deep.
  12. Thanks youth. I do love my RSW-15 but the reported specs on the F-1800 would suggest it has the better low end if you beleive those numbers. What is the difference between the F-1800 and the FSR-1800?
  13. i found these specs and im not sure if they are real 10 Hz - 97.0 dB 12.5 Hz - 100.2 dB 16 Hz - 97.8 dB 20 Hz - 93.0 dB 25 Hz - 95.0 dB 31.5 Hz - 97.6 dB 40 Hz - 93.4 dB 50 Hz - 88.4 dB 63 Hz - 96.7 dB 80 Hz - 89.7 dB 100 Hz - 83.7 dB 125 Hz - 83.6 dB http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volume_3_3/v3n3l.html
  14. Can anyone comment on how this sub will mix with my RSW-15 or stack up to it on the low end and across the full spectrum? I found another guy selling one for $200 and he will deliver. thanks
  15. I agree but then they are oddy half way in the room. I run the fronts set as large and can feel tons of air pushing out the ports. I have moved them 18" from the wall and they do sound better. I have heard from someone at Klipsch that plugging the ports will help tremendously.
  16. Thanks for setting me straight and pointing out the alerts section. I didn't know it was even there and what it was for. Now I see. Thanks
  17. I have been looking for a pair of RF-83s and to get another RSW-15 but the timing is bad for me so i thought i would pass this on. http://denver.craigslist.org/ele/4698864607.html this guy looks to be trying to sell the whole set and make some money but he did say he might be willing to part out. http://denver.craigslist.org/hsh/4697278079.html
  18. I would be curious if Klipsch still has the Preamp/amp available for the RSW-15 and RSW-12--Anyone know? I know there is a company on eBay that is repairing them for something like $165.
  19. I love my RSW-15 and I have another one on the line. Why are the great deals always 6 hours away and discontinued!
  20. Crap, your right I read your post incorrectly. I thought you wrote RSW-15. I appologize for stringing you along. Good luck.
  21. Are you taking about this plate? I have removed 16 screws but the thing will not come off. Any tips on how to get it off? I tried prying with a flathead screw driver but that is just marking up the wood around it.
  22. I'm back from vacation finally and will have time this weekend if you still need some pictures. Met me know and I will take them for you.
