Since you have been so pleased with your Onkyo 805, look for a flagship(or near flagship) Onkyo or Integra that has Audyssey MultEQ XT-32 instead of the Onkyo proprietary AccuEQ. http://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/intdtr704/integra-dtr-70.4-thx-9.2-140-watt-network-a/v-receiver-sale-reduced-100/1.html http://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/intdtr605/integra-dtr-60.5-thx-9.2-135wpc-wi-fi/bluetooth-receiver-like-tx-nr929-sale-reduced-100/1.html#!more Bill i have been shopping Integras (onkyos) better half, not too many used ones fro sale so i take that as a good thing....i really appreciate your help ;-) -

"Best" $1000.00 AVR is hard to define being opinions are so subjective. Have you been happy with your TX-SR805? Is Atmos and 4K a must have? Are you planning on using your new AVR as a preamp/processor with an outboard amp/amps? What is you room size? What speakers are you going to drive with the AVR? Bill im very happy with the 805, no atmos and 4k is not a must have at all, i plan on running an amp in the future but dont have one at the moment, ive just had the itch for something new, im in an open basement approx 600-800 sq ft... im running all klipsch speakers fronts rf83, rears rf82, rc64 center, r-115sw sub (on its way, just Purchased) -
Ive read every review i can, whats your opinion on the best AV Receiver for around $1000
-
I can build my own box I'm very skilled with tools how would I get cheaper and are you talking about me building a box that's also going to have an amp also my budget is probably tops 800 I can get my hands on the Klipsch 15 inch for 600 brand new can I do better than that building myself
-
right now i can get 2 klipsch r-10sw for 175 each brand new in box, bic still better choice?
-
What size is your room? Where is your location? Bill its an open basement aprrox 600-800 sq ft

I have 2 rf83 front, rc64, 2 rf82 rear, 2rs42 and a no name sub that has served me well.....im strictly movies no music Im debating on purchasing 2 Bic acoustic pl200, 2 klipsch r-10sw, or 1 svs pb1000 or 1 klipsch r-115sw (had one to buy but it sold night before i was to pick up) im at a loss...ive read every review i can and cant seem to make a decision, please help

-
that guy who posted those speakers is the guy I bought my rf-83's from, he sell Klipsch speakers here in STL,MO all the time
-
i like my 83's, im just mulling over the idea of upgrading if its even an upgrade...im looking to get rear floor standing speakers, will rf42 be enough with the rf83 and rc64 in front? or should i go rf52,62,82? i had 82 for the rear or what i thought i was rf82 when best buy had them marked at 225 each but through research found out they werent the same they were instead the r28f, reference wanna bes im strictly using these fro HT not music
-
okay, love the thread youthman, nice pics too, so let me ask the same question in a different way...i could probably sell my rf83's for say $1000 and rf7ii's i can from research score from anywhere from $1800-2300 for a pair,....you said you chose the rf7ii but is the sound difference worth a $1000 out of pocket expense or keep what i have?
-
I currently have the rf-83's and was thinking of selling and getting the rf-7's but only if its a great upgrade...
-
these arent mine, i just saw it on ebay and figured id share in case anyone lives close enough, i didnt offer anyone $250, i dont have anything for sale on here,, ....Scrappy you said to call who at sound distributors to get best price over the phone?

what i dont understand is why Klipsch refers to them and calls them "reference" speakers if they truly arent
