  1. Its only a 30 dollar sub/sat set, its not supposed to be a svs ultra.
  2. do you have like a subwoofer showroom at your house now? LOL
  3. you dont need to get a new grill, 2 of my pegs broke off and i just used super glue to glue them back and never ever took off the grills again
  4. Yo, you should try the sony mdr-v6 not v600 headphones. I have a pair and they sound great but bright. you should try them since i havent seen anyone on this forum review a sony headphone.
  5. http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-WL3adIu97aa/ProdView.asp?a=0&s=0&cc=01&g=12600&id=morephotos&i=018191WH#morephotos Do you really need that big of a encloser for 2 2 1/2inch drivers? And look at the price. "proprietary ported enclosures for reliable bass response" bass from 2 1/2in woofers/tweeters/midrange?
  6. This is what i heard but dunno if it is right. People that work at best buy get to buy stuff for what best buy pays for it in bulk, plus 10% So if a spool of monster cable is 50 dollars and best buy paid 5 dollars for it (very close to true) The employee gets to buy it for 5 dollars plus 10% of 5 dollars so 5.50?
  7. i found out that actually they sung from 4PM to 2AM, phew, lets hope the neighbors dont kick them out...
  8. Ok, is it better to turn down the gain and turn up the amp or turn up the gain and turn down the amp, i found out that when you turn the gain up, the amp starts clippin and causes distortion.
  9. I am asian, and so are my relatives of course. And as many of you might now, asians like karaoke... So my uncle had a party today and they karaoked from 4 until 12 midnight. So my question is that will this continuous play of -30db on the kenwood receiver and the klipsch sf-3 speakers hurt or burn out anything if they do it again? Also they also have a set of old generic speakers that are hooked up to the b speaker slot on the kenwood so they told me to turn on all 2 pairs of speakers, will this cause more damage to the receiver? Please note they also play at very high levels. I can also hear the horn tweeters distort at high levels of vocals, will this burn the tweeter after long periods of karaoke? Ok thanks. In summary, my question is, will high levels and long periods of high level vocal singing cause damage to any horn tweeters or amplifers (please note that the kenwood is driving 2 pairs of speakers). Thanks (ok, my uncle was a former bose fan then i went to him and told him the truth about bose, so they dont know much about audio so they asked me for help with buying speakers, and of course i told them klipsch, so i dont want them to get back to me when there klipsch horn tweeters are gonna burn out cuz of high levels of vocals.)
  10. my high school's band hall has some la scalas.
  11. i think they should change those icons in front of each topic that are yellow and red, they look so alike so its hard to tell a newly replyed topic. I would also like to see a off-topic forum.
  12. Do you really use a 6in black and white tv?
  13. i had no sucess with compaq, but with my www.micronpc.com they make it so you can install/upgrade anything without a screw driver and theres extra slots to install them, mine came with 1agp and 5 pci. They make really good machines.
