I am asian, and so are my relatives of course.
And as many of you might now, asians like karaoke...
So my uncle had a party today and they karaoked from 4 until 12 midnight.
So my question is that will this continuous play of -30db on the kenwood receiver and the klipsch sf-3 speakers hurt or burn out anything if they do it again? Also they also have a set of old generic speakers that are hooked up to the b speaker slot on the kenwood so they told me to turn on all 2 pairs of speakers, will this cause more damage to the receiver? Please note they also play at very high levels.
I can also hear the horn tweeters distort at high levels of vocals, will this burn the tweeter after long periods of karaoke?
Ok thanks.
In summary, my question is, will high levels and long periods of high level vocal singing cause damage to any horn tweeters or amplifers (please note that the kenwood is driving 2 pairs of speakers).
Thanks
(ok, my uncle was a former bose fan then i went to him and told him the truth about bose, so they dont know much about audio so they asked me for help with buying speakers, and of course i told them klipsch, so i dont want them to get back to me when there klipsch horn tweeters are gonna burn out cuz of high levels of vocals.)
