  1. I have a pair of La Scala/ Rodgers amplifiers I pulled from a very nice working set of Klipsch La Scala’s. I know nothing about them other than what I have gathered on the forum. Pricing also came from suggestions on the forum so let me know if I’m out of line. PM me if you have any questions or need more info. $150 shipped.
  2. Mine are setup exactly the same. The screw top makes it handy to access the top hat portion. This set looks like it hasn’t seen much playtime. I wish I would have hooked them up with the included amp before I took them out, but I have a lot of gear sitting unused that will pair really well with these beauties. Thanks for all the info.
  3. LSI’s didn’t come with the amps. These came out of a regular home version set. I never new La Scala’s came with their own amps.
  4. I have a pair of amplifiers that came with a pair of La Scala’s I bought. They are the Rodgers organ type. Do these amps have any value? I thought about pitching them, but thought I’d check first.
  5. If you’re serious about K-horns, just sell the La Scala’s. They look to be in really nice shape. I would think they would fetch about 3/4 the price of a set of used K-horns. If your willing to drive, deals can be had. If not, use U-Ship.
  6. I used the Academy for a center when I had my Chorus II’s. I was not impressed either. Like the above post, a third Chorus would be the best.
  7. I did! Only neighbor I have is one of my good buddies. Luckily, he likes the same music I do. I bet you could hear them a couple miles away though. Just awesome!
  8. Bruce You need another pair of La Scala’s. Perfect size for your listening room.
  9. I know. I’ve been trying to con you out of them for a while now. 😁
  10. I’ve recently downsized speakers from Kpt-942’s and MWM/K-402’s, to La Scala industrial splits. I got around to hooking them up tonight. I hadn’t heard a pair of La Scala’s since I sold my pair a couple years ago. I was a little nervous that I’d be disappointed. I spent about 2 hours listening this evening and was really impressed. I remembered very quickly why I liked the La Scala’s so much. Live music on them is just so good it’s ridiculous. It’s unbelievable to me how lifelike and raw they are for such small speakers. I’m aware of their shortcomings on low bass, but that is an easy compromise for me because of what the do really well. Bass is clean, crisp and natural. Highs, again just raw and ominously realistic. They have a dynamic presence that I’ve never had with another speaker. I will not make the mistake of selling them again. Are they better than the big Klipsch they replaced? No, but they will definitely do for the time being.

    .

Very surprised these are still here. I’d come get them, but 2,000 miles away.
  12. My search for the splits is over thanks to member CJ Wolf. Good guy that took his personal time to put me in touch with the seller. Thanks again.
  13. Thanks for the heads up! PM me if you happen to have his contact. I don’t have a Facebook account.
  14. I would think Klipsch would come off some grille cloth. You did just buy brand new Jubilee’s from them. 😀
  15. I agree. There is no better center to your setup than another La Scala.
  16. I’ve heard the new La Scala’s for a very brief time and think they sound great, but the original is not far behind and definitely my favorite Klipsch of the home offerings that I have experienced. No better speaker for live recordings.
  17. Thanks for the offer, but as you know, it’s hard enough trying to find a set. I would think almost impossible to find a single it’s mate.
  18. Looking for a set of La Scala splits in good condition. Prefer stock, but updated crossovers would be a plus. Located in the Southern Indiana area. I would be willing to drive a fair amount for the right pair.
  19. Footprint wise, Chorus. Either model. Home Klipsch overall, La Scala’s. Obviously Jubilee, but never heard them.
