Thx. I had my "End of my life" party last Sat. The boyz had a nice funeral for me. Free beer and baseball tickets.

NO, smart. We didn't, no booze at our wedding. No tradition either. The 200+ guests had a blast without it. Much better on my wallet that way. Enough about me. Hey Klipsch Community! Great news! I am getting married this Saturday the 26th. I even found a way to include Klipsch in my reception. We are having a small wedding/reception. No DJ, no free booze. I know I know, cheap skates. I never understood why the people getting married provide the booze...so we aren't. TAKE THAT TRADITION!!! Anyway. I have a two channel old yamaha and my RP-280F's joining the party for the reception. Don't worry, they will be protected. I will be online for the next couple days responding to forums and stuff. But off for a bit Starting Saturday.

AliRashdan has PM'ed me about a range of advice. I think the community will join me in support of his coming system! He will be set on cables and setup. Since we have roughly the same system in terms of speakers, I provided feedback and minor guidance for his new setup. I welcomed AliRashdan to the community and offered all of our continued support. I was told on phone only when ordering my second R-115SW that the Premiere Line is replacing Reference II's. I can not confirm this statement, because I don't know who the guy was on the other end of the phone, just that he works for Klipsch ordering, but that is what he said. Please take that statement with a grain of salt. I will say though, I have heard many an RF-7 II, and these new RP-280's have similar punch, and in my opinion only, they are far less harsh in the highs and display clarity the RF7 II's cannot. Just opinion only.

Working well. We had a ton of rain here in MN, and my basement started to flood. NO WORRIES, I called in the cavalry, and had my electronics out in 15 or fewer mins. No damage. Whew. Before the 7 inches we got, working well. Really excited about the damage though. Insurance check is mostly covering the re-model we were going to do next spring. So, just a jump start on our project. The system is crazy nice. You were right about the dimension of it. I can hear and 'sense' things happening in films with a clarity I have never experienced. Love it.

I have the RP-280 system and then some more. I chose the Bookshelves for my surround instead of the bi-polar. Let me tell you, I LOVE this system. If you want direct feedback, please contact me. You are right. I like the 150Hz setup. I hit reference level and 150 vs 120 adds dimension without becoming harsh. Thx for the tip.

I wonder if you rip it to your HDD if the software will remove a 2.2 compliance... Negative. It is on my HDD as a .iso file. It is direct rip and format retained as if I were playing a disc. What if you rip to a .mkv file? I use AnyDVD, and DVDFab for ripping all my BRs to the NAS. Loss in quality when doing conversion. Most don't notice, but I do. lol. I select same as source... I had thought that there was no loss by doing this. I also noticed there is a new one mkv.4k. Use .mkv 4k if you can. Plz PM me if you have any questions. Mmmmmm, That is a good idea. And thank you for the tuning setup. I did use my dirac to help the post MCACC process. I have the crossovers at 120Hz and it is very healthy sounding without reverb issues. No throttling or position issues. I think I have it right because I lose the fact I have speaker position. Which means natural sound.

Oh right, you know we aren't that lucky. He will see "Forte II" in the title read this whole mess. I am know for causing trouble. But in a fun way. Speaker of trouble. Can you PM with any ideas how I could disperse power need from my new amp? I don't want to hijack this thread. My new Marantz is popping my circuit breakers due to power use.
