I love the B&W CDM CNT for its clarity. I sold a big Polk RTi A6 and kept it instead. May just hold onto it. Its really not too bad with the RB-5s.Has an aluminum dome tweet that leans to the forward side.

Geez! I gotta get my ears on a few of these.

Well, first hand source is good to know. For what Matt is asking, cant get hurt too bad. Gonna kick it around. Thanks.

Thats a crazy good deal. The RTi series are excellent for HT and decent 2 ch. -
Need a center to match RB-5ii. Many have said this is the best match. Black preferred, but not a deal breaker.

RB -5 ii arrived Wed with no damage. Have had some time with these and I gotta say, these are plain ol fun speakers. Having never owned any Klipsch before, i wasnt sure what to expect. They had plenty of good reviews and you guys here spoke highly of them, but ya never really know till ya hear em. Good size, 17 x 9 x 10 and 22 lbs ea, they are stout. Knock test revealed a solid thud. 8" woof and 6" horn. Big rear port, so i had to move forward a couple of inches. These have the best bass i have ever heard from a bookie. Also a nice mid bass kick that is fast and accurate. I expected the horn to sound shrill, but its actually rather laid back, almost too much so.. Comparing with the B&W CDM 1nt, they held their own. Much better bass, but lacked the sweet mids and airy highs that the B&Ws possess. That said, its a fine sounding speaker on its own. They have a seductive quality that is enjoyable, with zero fatigue. Also, these speakers image like crazy. Most vocals are dead center and sound like center channel in playing. Love that. Overall solid presentation and well worth the 265.00 delivered from Colorado, Thanks again MATTser! Having a lot of fun with these speakers. A LOT of energy in these things. 8 ohm, super easy to drive and a palpable bass at low volume. These would be a solid choice if you need a near full range sound from a bookie. I did a lot of listening through the Marantz NA 7004 both CD and FLAC files, into the Onkyo TX SR 705, in "Pure A" mode, bypassing all calibration and no subs. Just a well blended sound that could do a smidge better with the mids, especially vocals, and could have a tad more air and bloom from the highs. Overall though a solid well rounded speaker for not a lot of cash. Im keepin em!

First. Buficts hit was legal. Bang, bang play and he lead with his shoulder. Second, they didnt show what Jones did. If he said something, so effin what! Heat of the battle. This is football right! The Squeelers are the NFLs darlings. Refs took care of em like they always do. Hate em.

Big UD Flyer fan here! Been a great last 5 years or so. Really surprised Archie Miller didnt bolt for a power 5 conference. Glad he has stayed. He has built a serious program at Dayton.

Pork roast, saurkraut and mashed potatos. Never thought of Black Eyed Peas as a tradition in the frozen tundra of Ohio.

Very good! Was just wondering. There are a number of niche speakers from different manufacturers that seem to dig in and hold a good value. -

Im a Klipsch newb and not trying to troll, but are the 75s that much better than RB-5s at nearly three times the price? Or is it just what the market bears on them now? -

No one on the Polk forum wanted it?
