  1. If so what is your brand of choice? Recently bought a 2016 F150 3.5 ecoboost and I gotta say that thing is pretty fast. I test drove a lot of trucks before buying and performance wise none of them came close, not even the v8's. Lets hear everyone's truck of choice here and experiences with different brands. I do love my truck dearly but I am a member of a F150 forum on facebook and see they sometimes can have more problems than I would like. I haven't had any yet (knock on wood) so i'll keep my fingers crossed! Any other Ford owners here that can report the luck they've had?
  2. Believe it or not the guy doing the iPhone unboxing video is one of my favorite tech reviewers. I'm actually really big into tech and often watch his reviews before buying products.
  3. Ya, I will definitely post many pictures and all that when they arrive. Good news is, they already shipped. They actually shipped about an hour after I ordered them. See, that's how you do business!!! I will say the dealer already gave me a refund of about 75% of what I paid, said it would take a couple weeks for the rest which I guess isn't the biggest deal. He said he needs to wait until he gets the full refund from Klipsch before he can give me the rest which I guess is understandable. Truthfully I didn't even expect him to give me any of the refund until he got his money back from Klipsch. I don't know if I really wanna say the persons name and give them a bad rep because they have been very polite and cooperative about the whole thing and actually did get very good reviews on google. I think this may have just been one of them things where pretty much everything that could go wrong did go wrong. I can assure you though it's no one I found on this site or have ever seen on this site.
  4. Wow, I didn't know they had an actual store. They've actually always been very good to me though the online chat assistance has always been top notch. I remember when I was younger and a Bose fanatic I decided to speak with the guy. I was dead set on buying a pair of Bose 701's and I told the guy what I was looking for in terms of sound quality and he steered me away from them and to the JBL S310's which were over 100 dollars cheaper at the time. So, they saved me money and got me a really nice speaker. Nothing like what I've got now of course but at the time I loved those speakers dearly! Come to think of it, I wonder why they didn't recommend me Klipsch back then but if memory serves me correctly I believe I told the guy I wanted the most bass heavy speaker they had for my price point.
  5. Ya, idk last I heard the waiting time was 2 weeks but I'm gonna tell ya what I did. I cancelled the order with this dealer I had been dealing with and just went ahead and ordered the pair I really wanted from the begining which was the 70th anniversary ones! I ordered them from a place I have been doing business with since I was a kid and bought my first pair of speakers. JBL S310's They actually gave me a very good deal. Same day shipping, I spoke to the guy he had them in stock said he was looking right at them. Place I am talking about is Onecall.com how many of you have heard of them? They are actually the same place I ordered my Klipsch subs from as well.
  6. Ya, it seems like throughout this whole thing I am the one that has been calling and playing detective about all of this. Truthfully I am the one that found out about the whole credit card issue about 2 weeks ago when I called they said, "ya theres a problem you better contact your dealer and talk to them before we can finalize this order" I had to contact him and tell him. He said he straightened it out that's why I didn't mention it I didn't wanna throw anyone under the bus but this is unbelievable already. From the begining I found it really funny that he didn't realize he hadn't been charged such a big amount for the speakers.
  7. Alright so I spoke with Klipsch and have to say I am pretty upset with what they told me. I guess the card the dealer used was declined and they did have a pair for me ready to go but now since they had to get a hold of the dealer and get a new card that pair they had was sold and now I am looking at about a 2 month wait for them to build me new ones. I am pretty sure I am just going to cancel from the dealer and find another way to get them. Honestly I really wouldn't even care if it wasnt for the fact that now they have to build a whole NEW PAIR that will take about 2 months! How many people here would cancel the order and ask for a refund? Let's take a poll!
  8. Ya, he says he emailed them and they haven't gotten back to him. When I called 2 weeks ago I actually got someone that was very nice and called the warehouse in hope and they told me the speakers were finished, boxed up and ready to go. Since then though I haven't been able to get anyone that know's what is going on. Hopefully I will get some answers today. My dealer told me he is going to look into it today and see what's going on. I'm also waiting to be called back by them right now. Seems like the holiday season has left them extremely busy. This is the first time I have called them and been told there are like 30 people ahead of me and I had to request a call back.
  9. Ya, a huge reason I don't want to let any of my gear go is the condition it is in, especially the La Scala's I couldn't have asked for a better pair they are pretty much mint. Not to mention the guy that sold them to me was a huge Klipsch fan and was really upset that he had to sell them. I told him I'd never get rid of them and thats a promise I intend to keep.
  10. Ya, I can't get rid of those. I think I'm just keeping it all honestly. Whatever I decide to use as my rears whether it be the La Scala's or the Chorus's I am just going to store the other ones in my storage room most likely.
  11. Ya, I was thinking that about waiting until the truck is full too. I bet it has something to do with that. Then they aren't open on the weekends either? Very annoying. Does anyone know the email adress to their customer support? The link for it doesn't seem to be working for me.
  12. Yes this is true and this is still the case today. Though When I ordered they said they had no other orders so they could complete them in 2 weeks. The guy said call back in 2 weeks and I'll have a tracking number for you. I called back in 2 week's they were complete but hadn't been shipped. It's been almost 2 weeks since they were built and still nothing.
  13. Ya, I fell in love with the sound! I keep telling myself I'll be satisfied after I get the next pair up but then in the back of my mind I'm always thinking, well if those sound this good I can't imagine how good these will sound. In the back of my mind throughout every purchase I made I knew my end goal was the Klipschorns. I remember when I was younger and bought my first pair of Klipsch speakers (the Pro media 2.1 computer speakers) And just for the hell of it decided to check out their website and look at their speakers, I stumbled across the Klipschorns and knew they were the coolest speaker's I had ever seen and that was before ever even hearing a Heritage speaker.
  14. The only thing I am hoping for is perhaps they did ship but the system is slow to update and any day now I'll have a surprise delivery but I'm more leaning towards they haven't shipped yet. I know they are very big items and it's not like they can just ship them out via usps but after the money I spent I would like to think they would move as quickly as possible.
  15. I'm really sorry for your loss and actually I saw that you shared your story on the Klipsch group on facebook. I actually recently lost my father as well so I know what your going through. Funny, I got a memorial tattoo as well but it had nothing to do with Klipsch. My father was a truck driver and was killed in an accident so I got a picture of his truck as a tattoo with his name. I'm sure your father would love all you've done in his name! God bless!
  16. Well the dealer gave me the order number and I have contacted him, he says he contacted them multiple times and pretty much says the same thing I say which is no one really know's whats going on and they are impossible to get a hold of half the time. In all honesty though at this point I think it's more in Klipsch's hands than his. He placed the order, and anything after that is up to Klipsch.
  17. Well, As some may know I have been on the lookout for some Klipschorns and after long hard thinking and research I decided to just buy a brand new pair through a dealer I found online that gave me a really great price. I figured I am at a place in life where I can afford it and the speakers will last me forever and music is a huge passion of mine so why not! So I ordered them and much to my surprise they finished building them in just 2 weeks. Here's where the problem is. They have been sitting for over a week now and when I call Klipsch customer service no one seems to be able to figure out why they haven't shipped yet. Unfortunately they really don't seem to know much of what's going on and 9 times out of 10 when I try to call I get a message saying we are in a business meeting please try your call again later which usually lasts the whole day. Today I got a guy that actually was trying to be helpful, he said he was going to call down to the building department and get back to me but unfortunately he never called me back. Has anyone else ordered heritage speakers or anything from them for that matter? How has your experience been?
  18. They really do look awesome! Being someone that is gonna be going from La Scala's to K-horns pretty soon, how big of a difference do you see between the two? Was it worth the upgrade, and how do they compare to the Palladiums?
  19. Yes I am and I was actually thinking of going Khorn but I always had an interest in these too. Have you ever had any experience with the K-horns?
  20. WOW NICE! Hey in your honest opinion you think those are better than the La Scala's? How do they compare?
  21. Title says it, I am looking for Khorns in the CT area. Budget is anywhere from 2-3k depending on the condition, age and color of the speakers. I do have means for transportation so I definitely could buy right away. Anyone with any info feel free to PM me or respond here. Also I would be most likely getting rid of my Chorus's and putting the La Scala's in the rear of my theater since I don't think I could part with those so if anyone was interested in a partial trade I would be definitely open to that as well. For anyone interested in the Chorur's pictures available upon request. Either way, after I get the KHorn's those will most likely be going up for sale.
  22. Alright I've come to the conclusion when I find a decent pair at a good price locally I am gonna pull the trigger and give it a shot. I just have one question for you all. Now, am going to go the route of building the falls walls onto the back of the speaker instead of trying to block the pipe in any way. Now do you guys think I should build the false wall on both of them or just the one that can't sit flush into the corner?
  23. Just curious do you guys think there is any sound quality difference between the older Klipsch speakers and say a brand new pair? Have they updated the drivers or crossovers? I do remember a member that had the old La Scala's and then purchased the II's and said they did sound more refined and smoother. Anyone here with experience with newer Klipschorns?
