  1. had a sweet Nakamichi years ago, not the Dragon; but still a nice one.

I had the CR-7A. Sold it for stupid money. Got over $2k for it. I also had a BX-300 I sold. I still have some nice Yamaha decks.

  2. What do these scientists know that Fauci doesn’t?

Imo, self proclaimed “experts” like Fauci have no right to wield such power.  He should have been removed from his position long ago.

Now that the virus is known to infect animals like mink, what will humans do when ruminants and fowl are infected by future mutations?

Fauci is a self proclaimed expert? You should advise him with your knowledge. I’m sure he’d welcome your input, as would the world.

  3. I am looking to purchase any of these larger format Klipsch speakers that are priced right and are in the Washington DC metro area.  Please reach out if you are considering selling.

    Aren’t we all...
Anything more specific? Year, condition, and preferred finish perhaps? Happy to help...

Especially when the seller's profile pic is an assault rifle of some sort.

And his Corvette looks like one of the Klipsch Forum Gurus made it better [emoji6]

From the many, many years I've been on this forum and from other observations, 99.9% of the time trying to sell a complete setup like that to the same person doesn't ever happen.  I see people on craigslist, Facebook, etc put up complete surround setups and state that they'll only sell it complete.  Then 6-12 months later they finally edit their ad and put individual prices on things.  Guess what?  It's usually all gone within a week or two.
So, if you're not in a hurry to sell it's no big deal.  But, you have a lot of very desirable gear that a ton of people would love to own.  Just not all of it all at once.  [emoji846]

That pricing though...gonna go quickly [emoji6]

  6. I own LS speakers ,  and they need a sub for decent bass

I have to somewhat agree. I think they have decent bass. I played my La Scalas for a few years in different positions and rooms and was completely happy with them. Thrilled, even. Moved by them. Excellent imaging. I love how quick and tight the bass is. Fantastic mids and highs.
    Or so I thought...
I tried a little experiment with 2 subs I had on hand and guess what? They are still in use 99.9% of the time with my La Scalas. I never thought they could sound better, but the subs take them to another level.

    .

... the ALK extreme slope crossovers are worth half the asking price

...the sum of the rest of the parts adds up to the other half

    looks like a sweet deal!

“... the ALK extreme slope crossovers are worth half the asking price”

Are they, though? To someone perhaps?

  7. What prompted you to get it? It’s $65/mo after the free trial. It offers fewer local stations than I pickup for free OTA. It gives sports, news, family, and lifestyle channels similar to what a cable company does. Aren’t the frame rates low and doesn’t this cause for a less than smooth viewing experience?

  8. You sir, are a regular Nostradamus .........

Why thank you, even if you’re trying to pretend to understand where I’m coming from. Visitors to this forum A. don’t get it and B. Cornwalls are a big problem child no one likes to address, IMHO. I run 2 pairs and Cornwalls are far from user friendly, unfortunately. I’m in a love hate relationship with both sets. I put one pair in my HT system to teach them a lesson and they are doing well. Cornwall IV’s look to be next level making everything but the size go away from what I’ve read.

I have to say, I'm really really enjoying my Hisense 65H9G.  I know the brand name isn't there but it's pretty amazing at its price.

Thanks for the tip! I’ve been looking beyond Samsung and LG, but have not looked at the Hisense in detail, yet. And now to go down that rabbit hole...

The manual doesn't say.  Send an email to SVS, they're very prompt at answering technical questions.

Not sure why you’re going down this path. This is using line level in/out.
I agree with the question “how are you adjusting volume now?”. By the system description, looks like everything is going through the DAC 3 B to the amp. Is the volume being controlled by the DAC3 B? Or another way? Likely want to connect to the sub from the DAC3 B or the amp. Also, the sub App is how you will access all the advanced settings for it.
