not going to do it...the thorens tp50 headshells are hard to come by... I've seen them both in factory and modified.. there normally $100 + if you find them...plus shipping from overseas... unfortunately I have the thorens td 125. fitted with the factory tp25 tonearm and tp50 headshell... here goes it looks like I need a whim kit... vinyl nirvana carries them. http://vintagethorens.com/home/thorens-upgrade-parts/universal-mods-and-upgrades/01shim/ I want to try out the at440... before I invest more $$$ in a cartridge.. but I'm sending the td125 out for a restore to vinyl nirvana... after the holidays..with no custom work done..other than a record weight....

have both the headshells.... the one that was on the td125.. has been drilled and top mountede screws with a shim between the headshell and cartridge..

and life a beach for you.. don't rub it in..if it gets to cold up here....make sure you have a room for me and GiA....
