  1. Last Saturday I attended the Axpona show at the Renaissance Hotel in Schaumbug,Illinois and during my tour of exhibitor rooms I stopped in room 1414 to check out what was on display from Klipsch. However,I only stayed a few minutes because the volume on the Klipsch Fortes was turned down so low I could not really get a good idea of what they sounded like.

  2. Over the years I have seen numerous posts online and in the pronted media that Klipsch speakers of all types that describe their sound as being to bright, too high in the treble, lack of front to back sound staging, etc. Why do these people put down Klipsch speakers when so many have been sold the world over?

  3. Why doesn't Klipsch exhibit at Axpona? They could have set up a huge exhibit at the 2018 event to have much of their product line on display.By doing so Klipsch could demonstrate that great,2 channel stereo sound doesn't have to be super expensive.

Is there still time for Klipsch to do so?

  4. yes, something like the polo that is listed for sale but my proposal would be an all cotton or poly cotton blend.one that could be worn with jeans with the shirt tail out or with a pair of dress slacks looking like one of those dapper guys who man the klipsch booth at the electronics shows.

  5. A suggestion:

For all us Klipsch fans, why not produce high quality polo shirts with the Klipsch logo on the front along with the words,A Legend In Sound?

These shirts could be made in either a ploy cotton blend or perhaps an all cotton mesh.Perhaps something similar to polo shirts sold by L.L. Bean or Brooks Brothers.

They could be made available in a variety of colors and have an extra 2/3 inches added to the tail to compensate for shrinkage after being put i a dryer after washing.

Like this huh? I'm cheap and haven't found anything to use that better than an old five. Five gallon paint bucket that is, you'd be surprised at what old painters use empty buckets for. The other one is on top of two of them so it isn't as obstructed by the sofa it's behind in the other corner! It makes a big difference in the sound to the La-Z-Boys especially for movies.

    hey johnj,

that you have your iconic heresys sitting atop buckets would have the hard cores over at stereophile demanding that you invest in 400.00 stands.your solution to stands is absolutely brilliant as is this picture!

  7. yes,i am familiar with the risers but what i have seen on the internet are heresys on stands meant for regular bookshelf speakers as well as heresys placed atop of a set of chest of drawers.also,go to you tube and check out the channel of z review as he calls himself.on his channel he is reviewing a pair of forte 3's that he has placed on top of a pair of 15 inch end tables.[!]

  8. I have seen on the internet various Klipsch models in the homes of their owners that are raised up on a stand of some sort.I am referring to such floor standing models as the Heresy and the new Forte 3.Is it that the midrange  and tweeters of these particular speakers are below ear level?
