Good looking family, you two are brave for bringing 6 little ones on a trip, we have done 3, couldn't imagine another 3.
Their parents brought them. We just played with them. Got all five of our kids, and all the grandkids together.

LOL. Rancho Chupacabra. Is that posted on the property? I hope so, I love it.
I have two signs: one is for Rancho Chupacabra, our first house in Az, the other is "Rancho Twopacabra" our current abode.

Spraying weeds at Rancho Chupacabra would be a lot less onerous chore if the weeds acted like this

@kink56 I live in Chandler Az, and have a pair of la Scala. If there is no one in Your general area that you can get a listen from we could probably arrange a session. The only turntable I have is a Victrola, so vinyl is out, but cd's will work. I use a 1980's SS Yamaha pre and amp for signal processing. No sub yet. I am generally available Fri & Sat after noon. Sunday after 1300. Shoot me a PM if yer interested.

No. We have a built in entertainment center, and I only have ~ 7.5" clearance top to bottom to fit a center in the TV cubby.
Any recommendations on a low profile center which would suit the Heresy?

Is either of the RC-52 a good center for a pair of Heresy in an HT set up?

It will take an SUV or minivan to move them?
Arkansas in May? ....sounding better all the time.
I got mine inna 1995 IsuzuRodeo. I think I read here about another member using an Outlander. So yes, a minivan Or a Medium SUV should do it easily.

Ahhhhhh yes. The old fold versus crumble debate.
When in AIT, Pete DiGuglielmo and I did a survey of our Company, on fold versus crumble. After polling about 90% of the unit, one person refused to answer. Pete shouted to me, across the Covered Training Area, "Hey Joe, we got a non user here!" Many LOL's.
The results were about 60% folded (or at least claimed they did) and the rest, but one, crumbled. No examinations on the efficacy of either technique (klingons, bacon stripes, etc.) were done.
The things Medics do when they are bored.

If you need filtered water, you are living in in the wrong part of the country. If your water is not good enough to make coffee what are you doing drinking it? Seattle water is so good, I would never filter it.
In eastern Co. and all of southern Az. Yez gots ta run da water through a softener. A reverse osmosis unit is a must post softening, to take the edge off. Ya live where the work is, and adjust to be happy. Colorado Springs and New York City have the best water I've ever had, but ya work with what you've got. Kinda like room treatments.

Well shut my mouth. The handshakes happened after the medal ceremony.
But it would have been better if the players had lined up and passed in review after the contest, in my opinion.

Very pleased that the US ladies team won the Gold. A very exciting contest. But what happened to the post contest handshake?
In the NHL players beat the heck out of each other for two weeks, but shake hands when its over, and I find this to be a fine tradition. Why not in the Olympics? -

I got a Z-Pack for a strep throat. On the plus side I now sound like Dr. Claw, and the grandkids love that.

Yes, I know. I've had several, now the K1600. You really have no idea how good front end can until you ride one with Duolever. A variation of the old Hossack deign. It is so superior to traditional forks that's its hard to describe.
But how does it sound?😋

$180 a piece would be a good deal. For a pair is a very good deal, assuming all is in working order. In the past two years I have seen one pair near me offered for less than $500. Most sellers in Az ask closer to $700. As to the pedestal question, I do not know. Others here with more in depth knowledge can advise on that.
What I mean about the pedestals: I do not know if they were originally sold without them. I have seen many used ones without. The picture you posted is a Forte I. Most I have seen for sale lack the riser. Apparently it is the first thing to go on these vintage speakers. The folks on this forum who own them, love them.
