  1. Since I don't have a farm with beef, poultry, pork and veggies I started stocking up. Prices are f'n insane could be remedied but they don't want to do that (po'd smiley here) Not affording $800 prepper packages, bought a couple cases of canned chili on amaz@# . The one with the chilies and extra j a p s all the sudden would take an extra ten days to get to me. In the E they asked did I want to cancel? Heck yea I did that after finding it for sale at a few $ less. Then I ordered what states 12 cans on the page... in the cart it's 6 cans!! They just about doubled the price on it to like $8 a can? pffttt DDucked it, got it coming from elsewhere, one of Sams stores for $2.16 a can plus nine 1 lb bags of Xochitl tortillas. For less than that original order. Feels so good! I'll start looking there first!
  2. One of my faves: I like to post from the artist's site but the sound there was muddied. GET A GRIP! This poster did better with the 1080 *19:08 to 25:32 is where I started. Hate that my 9th grade Social Studies teacher Mrs. Saunders made an indelible impression on us all with current events among other stuff. "Mr. Man you take yourself to the back of the class and you Ms. Lady be quiet!"
  3. Incredibly funny with a voice that at first made me laugh hearing him articulate! Some of the comedians might have a better grasp than the rest of us on things. Is that how they made us hold our sides to keep from splitting? https://citizenfreepress.com/breaking/gilbert-gottfried-passes-away/

    What I Got Today!

Actually got this back in Jan, it was less than a bill then. Got a Wellers then also, don't see those here or where I used to live either. Used up what was opened the other night. So this was opened tonight, It's a lighter color than my 12yr Knob Creek that I have stockpiled. Same proof, totally different in the mouth. Good for a sipper.
  5. It can build up thick on anything that the snow would stick to first around here. I will not have that Magnolia blossom smell sticking to me anymore though!
  6. Sometimes I can't get enough of them, and it's appropriate given unmentionable current events. Wonder who was first with the arena rock theatrics. David Bowie, Alice Cooper, Phil Collins maybe Ian Anderson??
  7. Don't know how they count pollen, doubt it's like me. When I can see it on a black lacquered Chevelle it's not too bad, When that Chevelle turns greenish yellowish and a rainstorm makes it run down the gutters on every street? I'm already sneezin' with my eyes watered up!
  8. Hey, I'd bet it works well too. Many recordings had me taking the edge off of the treble or bumping the bass with my old heresies!
  9. Been a long time since I've seen that Dave, shows the kind of "not the" high-life I've been living since 38.
  10. Love the way the setup for the equalizer is listed in Hz on that old amp!
  11. Might fork out money if I'm still here in `23. Until then the fu-fu shears and cheap blinds will have to do. Last place I put real curtains in it ran me over $1100 and that was in 2003. Some things I won't bend on and I was raised in the South. I've always drawn the curtains where the hot sun would be the rest of the day until I got back. So that 1100 was spent on canvas with a backing, then prettier heavy stuff for her room and LR and den. Not blackout quality, but I've seen that done nicely in FL.
  12. I couldn't hold a flashlight in one hand and work the phone at the same time quite right. I've got the same pressing and know it's wonderful! Happy Belated Palm Sunday to you if you're not on the Orthodox one.
  13. Been listening to tunes all weekend, don't think I'm going to stop either. This toe-tapper brought me in here so I'll share this third Tull in a row I've been on.
  14. Lucky you, here it's been highs almost 50 with mid 30s for the lows. Don't mind my Polks that mated nicely with my heresy IIs sonics, but I miss my 18 to 20k of my Fortes and the sub!
  15. Just quoted them, so I thought I'd put it through it's original context.
  16. To quote YES You and I can change the world; The more we live, the more we learn, the more we know. From this moment on we share the world; The more we give, the more we love, the more we grow. The spirit of imagination can lead us through the dark; The more we see, the more we try, the more we show. The evidence of our confusion, life has left its mark; The more we fear, the more we lie, the more we hide. As we walk into tomorrow (Turning away from the path we know) Holding the future with our hands (We carry the weight of the world we go) It's up to you and I (We hold the key; we hold the answer) All our thoughts of doubt and fear (We leave it all by one) The more we live, the more we learn, the more we know. For each of us the road is clear and life has just begun; The more we give, the more we love, the more we grow. It's time to reach the goals we've set for ourselves; The more we fear, the more we lie, the more we hide. All we need is just to believe in ourselves; We face the truth, we see it clear, with no disguise. Cast away our doubt and sorrow (Turning away from the past we know) The Universe and all can be (Showing the fate of the world we know) Together you and I, we hold the key to all the answers (Let go)
  17. just plain AWESOME And after all these years (said it before here) think side two is the strongest "hand" and worthy addition to 2112!
  18. Now this happens to be a treasure-trove of analog amplification. Posted here by I think one that got chased off by just financing his hobby - selling what he had to finance different stuff. @joesportster http://glowinthedarkaudio.com/home.html pace yourselves, there's lots of click-bait over there!
  19. That's a $6500 100 watter integrated, their $$$ Edge series. First one is $ and mine! Remember the Chrysler Hemis being underrated at 450 bhp in the early 70s? Same going on here I believe.
  20. Buttons are good too! simple and well defined *but this makes me drool
  21. One More Sign o' the Times... like 400 to 1000AD
  22. Still good even without Mr. Dewar who was half of my favorite Trower LPs.
