  1. He is one of the regulars when that stuff happens Randy, can't speak for him though.
  2. Bring it Mr. DJ I'll start:
  3. Ok maybe i need to move to the photog thread but... Rained so much today that the tree frogs are tryin to get in, caught him when I went for the mail just now.
  4. C'Mon Maaaan! You knew that `cause you aren't a soy boy and you've worked and got dirt under your nails all your life! I comprehend as I was taught to earn my keep too.
  5. And you know what you're talking about Eldon, found that out decades ago myself, the black dirt where the perimeter is is completely different than the red clay everywhere else here!!
  6. Been doing that since there were four dozen pine trees around the perimeter.... early 70s with a freaking awesome Craftsman Eager One Magnesium lawn mower!!
  7. ^^I second that one @CECAA850. Might have found my issue today, appears something was off in my September bloodwork. Nice to find out about it two months later! Thyroid issue suspected, order put in for the next time 12/1 I get the draw done. There is hyper and hypo thyroidism. Hypo can make you tired, and can be caused by things like say six weeks of radiation in early `17 for that super weird skin cancer that travels through your nervous system. Arrrggghhh. It was targeted to my neck... right next to the thyroid thingy darnit. Yea blood work will say but the hypothesis is easy with searching for issues and knowledge of patient (me). The thing with finding out late stinks but he is a Dr. that I otherwise have zero issue with. That is good, and the gen MD finds my complications interesting in a Dr. House kind of way. So worry about this?? He*l No! That wouldn't do any good. Try to eat good any maybe, just maybe start exercising like I tried once already this year and I've got another 30 years in me I'm sure.
  8. It was about `89 last time I bought any. My contacts are all gone now so no chance at it either for me!
  9. Yep and the dual blade Honda mulcher I have does do a good job of that! Except it isn't a true 22" mower, the one inch makes a difference with the quarter acre of lawn!
  10. That's what I do but when the rain comes it will matt the leaves down so well that I have to try the pre-emptive strike.
  11. I hope we do get freezing weather soon, but alas mid to high 70s lows in the mid 60s the rest of the week and the leaves will keep on falling a little at a time. Less than 48 hours from cutting the grass and vacuuming the drives with the lawnmower this is what I saw pulling up a half hour ago. Not as bad as was when all the trees were still here, but I understand what @Dave1290 goes through. The next road over has a lot of big oaks and it does get knee deep at the roadside before they bag`em.
  12. Those red and the blue were the very first LPs I got when I was about ten. Had a Panasonic one piece record player, radio and 8-track from Santa the year before. They didn't know what they would be starting that year!
  13. Heck I doubt I could afford it! Last time I smoked it had gone up to $40/oz, $100/oz for sinsemilla varieties the good Lebanese Blonde Hash, the Colombian Redbud and Acapulco Gold were extinct. I can sip the good bourbon an ounce a few times a month or two oz infrequently. But weed? I dare not go near it again. Surprised I could function enough to support myself then!
  14. A month ago then last week we were in the 30s at night. But last month the highs were 50. Now it's low of 60 and high of 70 with 80% the whole time. But nope what I talked about has been dragging on for months. * Got a 14 oz NY Strip for $5 with todays date on it early this morning. Was not a great piece of meat like angus but fried in evoo with a clove of garlic then a little salt with a potato fried up in that right after like thick chips was a nice dinner tonight!
  15. So I've just been beat lately, and while I am out of shape and the exercise thing I was thinking about was only that, I think it's more. And I stumbled across Tommy Chong talking about Dr. Clark and nano-CDB. I heard some people talk about this here a year or so ago and I'm not going to pull the trigger quickly on something like this... but I will press both Drs that I see tomorrow with this issue. If to them changing the coreg to one of the other awful Rx's is the answer I will rethink this tomorrow night. Can't change the hypertension directly caused by the immunos or my age but there will be a change soon dam*itt!
  16. Faces were really good! Got a couple now. Funny, thinking back as I always seem to be doing... heard Rod's music on the radio all the time back then. It's a different day now!
  17. We're supposed to have the rain from that storm that was down around the Yucutan last week. It was my first canvasing of the gutters this season, there will be at least one more even though we don't have that many shade trees anymore, yep neighbors with pin oaks.
  18. My goto LPs changed when my collection tripled! Got one for you that like it when Rod Stewart sings along with the jam!
  19. Morning Beer? That was Bud for us back in the day... the other life. Got the leaves out of the gutters, cut the grass vacuumed the rock-lot and curb. Before I was done with the lawn it was already covered again with the wind and slight rain that had kicked up. Two days in a row I cleaned up leaves, happens every year once and only once. I'll hit it next weekend again. Dreading the flu shot tomorrow, it's a month early for me but had an appointment anyhow and just set it up. Since I got the new filter half the time it knocks me out for the rest of the day. Maybe I'll be in the other half this time!

    The Other Discs

Not tired yet, might be the cayenne pepper, bell pepper & onions or something. First few words I hear sung talked about not sleeping & Psycho!
  21. Sounds great man, used to go to Boone and Linville gorge way before the changes there. Hwy 80 in my `89 Silverado was like a roller coaster coming back home the long way!
  22. Dang @sunburnwilly you go to the mountains what? Four or five times a year for that road-trip plus the fun-drive? The "scooby-do" sounds good!
  23. One of the guys that comes to this thread infrequently with a magnificent system talked about how good that release was and I picked it up almost a year later and I love it. My cassette is long gone and the cd was lacking in sonics. Only thing I can say negative is that there is now a gap between Mother and Goodbye Blue Sky. The one about the air raid is oddly my favorite, they fit together to me. Love the sound on this particular version of the record.
  24. I've seen it coming all year guys. And now it's happened. First regular season loss in three years? That's kind of hard to forget. Darn game took so long with all those retarded "official" reviews and then "Hells Bells" played and the game was interrupted by c*mmies. @Dave1290 good. The problem is caused by the chemical that keeps me alive and damnitt I just take another to counteract it! New problem is elsewhere, and it doesn't lead me around anymore or wake me up either. It's a different life, for sure. Sorting the megabytes of porn on my pc this week keeping me busy & let me know it's alive... why do I keep downloading this? The Irish did not get a trophy last night! Just some bragging rights. @willland LSU was a machine that year, dink and doink always got the conversion, never mind who the other guy was. They controlled the tempo and several of their games looked almost identical to me when I watched them to see what was coming our way! They earned IT!
