  1. Silly to ask that bud, you know all of those were pressed to Fagan's standards or he would have had them burned!
  2. True, haven't looked there in a while it got to be too much cartoonish characters for me. Plus I've got gigs of pics on separate storage drives that are getting to be too much!
  3. Rotated this one on my desktop since xp, the rendering came from a talent at deviant art.
  4. Hey again Dave, have I mentioned that I dig that turntable you've got? One of our family's friends had one in their house long ago. It impressed even before I caught the component-bug. My first attempt with the analog in my rebuild went sour. I scoured the www for ideas and found the one I've got but opted for a slightly less pricey one. Then lucked into the one I use now. Apparently it was made with the Linn Sondek in mind: https://www.analogplanet.com/content/projects-new-classic-turntable-celebrates-twenty-five-year-anniversary#spmDqxmQWOxLBK3C.97

More "fight" music to get your blood pumping after too many carbs the last two weeks! The new "night sight" on my phone can do some neat stuff, here the glow from inside my integrated shows.
  6. I never tire of some music, wish I could share the tune I want to but most of this LP is blocked from playing on youtube here. Found one with decent sound though... NewYear'sEve is tomorrow! Winding up with AC/DC's best ever! Can ANY other speaker beside the Klipsch Heritage horn loaded reproduce the electric guitar like it's there in the room with you?
  7. @Dave1290 Bet I'd recognize your voice if I ever heard you.. 7 ways to Sunday that you were a DJ at one of the stations around here in the 80s !! & you left town with a few milk crates!
  8. "Roll Tide" championship football is going to be good next week!
  9. Nice music for cool soggy weather Mike.
  10. @Marvel With the captions the above posts read like a report, a good report.
  11. You're not the only one, the talk and then the platter pic makes me wish!! When I was young and my dad was still around we would go to the fresh fish market downtown after Christmas. He would have already ordered a bushel of oysters and would get a large pressure cooker from somewhere also. New Years Eve every year was a big party with his brother that lived the other side of the speedway and folks from work. Mom's younger brothers showed up with their gals too. The only parties they ever held here and it was every year that I kinda got scolded for being up too early and being too loud on New Years Day!!
  12. Remember when: Ronco = plastic which was synonymous with cheap/bad?

Ten minutes in right now and it sounds like the 90s alright! That's not a bad thing to me. Lived within a very good alt station's WKRO "Daytona's Crow" range that was unrelenting in playing slightly off from the norm. So much in fact that it became the norm within a couple of years. WDIZ our rock station picked up some of their playlist, Ron & Ron's station in Tampa stuck with the Soundgarden!
  14. WOW! remember seeing those a long time ago, got a PF520 that was in my price range instead. It worked for thirty years just about non-stop until the motor died. Nice Machine!

That is an excellent LP @dirtmudd. It showed how tight they were and Mark's abilities, wasn't it their first? Since my musical tastes vary I've had that on a long time too, and when the raucous get togethers happened it didn't get played so it survived!!
  16. @CECAA850 That's going to be the first thing I want tomorrow after four days of turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, potatos, grn beans, yeast rolls, pumpkin pie, apple crisp and eggnog. Just reached my limit, and I'm glad I could send some of it to SC, (none wasted) `cause I want garlic, tomatos and linguine.
  17. Since it's you....... of course. I thought it was tadpoles they were related to
  18. That and a Happy New Year to you @oldtimer Nice try, but that's no frog, it's a bearded dragon:
  19. Jake looks kinda like what I found on our rug yesterday afternoon:

    The Other Discs

Another that I still have on LP but it's seen too many parties and won't get put under the moving coil. This one's arranged differently also including songs that were left out of the well known original. That isn't noted on the cover, but this version is different. Textured/embossed sleeve similar to LPs of yesteryear, another Japanese pressing for my playlist. Led Zep's contribution to the Midnight Movie Scene here in the early 80s!

    The Other Discs

Got to open a small box with my brother and kids here today for first Christmas for them! The only KISS record I ever had I've got again: Of course all the music I listened to back then was about four things.... well three plus cars!
  22. Chuck, I got some rock-n-roll from my favorite decade - 70s, that's all we do is stocking-stuffer type stuff. The kids get the big stuff like they should. Presents this morning here then across the hwy from Clemson tomorrow with the other grandparents! That turkey was a pain the other day to babysit in the psychotic oven but it's been good eating plus sandwiches for their trip home. That thing does not get any more $ from me. I'm done. Her actual gift is likely to be a years worth of payments for me on a oven with a comma in the price, not ready to commit yet.
  23. Not that hungry bud. And won't be for the rest of this year!
