My garage full of fantasy land gathering dust was washed down by the Mighty Fox River. I am now dealing with insurance on a pair of Khorns, Belle and CWs. A dime for WALNUT CF-4s is not unreasonable, although I got mine in cherry for $200 a couple years ago. They are great speakers, I rate them better than the KLF-30s. Just my .02

You guys? Fantasy land? Unfulfilled dreams?
I am happy to be one of the "you guys". It's working quite well so far.
Reasonable deal / fair price is only what the seller and buyer agrees to, armchair coaches don't count. There are exceptions on prices in both directions. There have been a few people who prefer the CF4 over the Khorn in an AB test. Having seller's remorse from letting my Cherry CF4 V1 go and being Figured Walnut CF4 V1 in good condition, I would buy these if they were close.
I sound nakedly envious... Because I am!!

I think most of you guys live in fantasy land with a garage full of unfullfilled dreams, gathering dust. That's not a 'very reasonable' deal. It's more than most people would pay, get real. Not judging.

Kill it already. The carrion is stinking up the whole site.

That's a good price for the 2100. the 1800 is usually priced in that area. I like your idea on the CF-3 baffle.

How about this- "This seller is currently away. If you make a purchase, there may be a delay in processing your order."

Thanks for posting that, there is a lot of good info for theater enthusiasts. Dispersion characteristics are very important and easy to forget about with Klipsch.

That was my plan and then for $2800 i could not pass it up. It was used but never out of the box.
I really do like the OLED sets, but I'll hang with my plasma for now. $2800 is too rich for me right now. Besides, I'm chasing more heritage speakers.

My plans are for OLED when it's priced better.

I sometimes hate living in the hinterlands.

That's pretty awesome. Too far for me but go Michigan!

Well this just ticks me off. First of all it wasn't a privileged anything, and it wasn't a "club". And I really don't think that you can attest to its worthiness since you never experienced it.Says the man wearing michigan panties.

I've had the same issue with subwoofers when the TT was not isolated properly. It can sometimes r\also require isolating pads under the system rack.

I prefer a pure signal, as pure as possible. The result is a blacker presentation with less noise, more separation and space around the notes. An exception would be with active speakers.

You could lightly sand them and paint them a spiffy black. I wasn't wanting black but the Quartets I have look pretty good. If you don't have them I'd recommend the $60 crites titanium tweeter diaphragms.

That doesn't look like bacon.

Bummer they are discontinued. If that's what sold out means.

With a -3hz response at 39hz you are still probably getting in room audible response in the high twenties. Not to mention the the 15 inchers pounding.

That was quite a deal for $650. $500, awesome.

My favorite receiver was the Luxman 351. It sounded better than the Parasound, Pioneer, Kenwood and Yamaha units I've had. If I ever get another analog 2ch receiver, doubtful, it will probably be a Luxman.

This is a comparison of the Klipsch RF63 and the Cerwin vega model one below the one you show. Obviously, it's a video with poor sound but it shows clearly the characteristics of the speakers

Glad to here that. TT's can be tricky.
