Fixed the problem i had to replace the crossover network kind of a pain had to pull all the speakers out to fish all the wires up to them and then put terminal clips back on the speakers at least Klipsch still makes them and were in stock they work fine now.

Just wondering how you turned out on this project?. I to am having issues with my Icon VF36 but its the tweeter i've fount it to probably be the crossover since the tweeter is fine as for service the woofers should come out the front and you would probably unplug them and test them that way if you found the problem to be the crossover I'm looking to find one as they are probably not repairable.

Well i finally figured out how to remove the tweeter since i figured it was toast i decided id have a tweeter for dinner so put a pan on the stove got it to boiling then backed off a bit and tossed the tweeter in for about 20 minutes the heat expanded it enough for me to pry it apart with out any damage to the terminal mount . i then found out that the tweeter was infract probably not bad in the first place i hooked a different speaker to the tweeter wires that i knew was good and nothing so its not getting contact from the crossover darn it so either the wires are bad or one etc or i got crossover problem or soldier joint since the wires don't plug in on the board anybody fixed this before? Thanks

I hope someone knows when my La Scalas Industrials where made i only have a 4 digit serial number i have pictures of them but the files are to big to post they are 1369 & 1370

Give me a couple days i have to take it( the tweeter) back out of the speaker .After i pulled ou tand separated the magnet /driver at its glued on to the teeter housing it was bear to separate the two pieces the fan like thing is the driver/magnet these are pictures i pulled from ebay but mine are exactly the same the dome shaped pieces with tiny wires are wedged inside the traxis horn i cant even get the diaphram terminal separated to be able solder the wires to the it ill get you more pics of mine this weekend

Did that there no help. They must only take care of the heritage line I've gotten 30yr old drivers before for heritage line but not the Chinese best buy line they sent me here i can buy the diaphram on ebay but having ***** of a time taking the tweeter apart to put it in thats wy i hope someone here has don this

You still have the K-138 tweeter?

I bought some Klipsch Icon VF36 speakers used only to find out the one of the K-138 tweeters are toast i also found out they are no longer manufactured thanks Klipsch. They are used in several models from what i have seen and i have noticed that you can buy the diaphragms off Ebay. But while taking mine apart it looks to be a challenge i cant seem to get the tweeter separated completely anybody had this problem? or repair ? please send me in the right direction on these or show me the complete breakdown of these any help would be nice Thanks Roger

I have one cabinet that says Klipsch KSM on it I believe it is a 12 inch stage monitor it does not have the speaker grill or cover so I don't know if it was the Pro series but I think that all these where called this I will try to add pictures later cause all my files are over 2MB in size. My questions are what horn lens was used on these and what driver for the lens was used what little info i could find on them seemed to be later versions of mine. My serial number on mine says 84 32836 so im thinking they were made in 1984 not sure what the other numbers would mean as for the components in side i have the woofer but not the horn lens and driver. From what i have found on the new literature they were said to have a K-63 driver of which i can find no where i found a lens on ebay a K701 whch is a heresey II horn but the only drivers I've found are a K-53 hope someone knows more about this monitor than i do thanks.
