Sat here last nite listening a bit and my PrimaLuna didn't hit 2. This is all just insane. Insane to the point I might even toss on some Froghat shortly! Looked for my Fogelberg "Phoenix" last nite to no avail. Oh yea, "wood block" I couldn't remember? Yup, I had a vision. Japan press on Polydor. Years since I've had any Zappa on! Killer Dynamo Hummmmmm! Those Scottish boys cranked this their 3rd out in '73! Cooks! The Nice - Keith Emerson's 1st successful band from 1967. It's ALL about him and a great play!

I come in, hit this thread and just laff while scratching my head. My dummer buddy told me the other day this place was just a bunch of "old geezers." Kids, guitars, drums, speakers, amps, cables, & stuff. Lawdy, it's just not right or is it? Geezers! Seriously???? I told him to buy a ticket at the door and stay outta my geezer lp's he so loves. 😂

Now I'm thinking Fleetwood Mac but... Ugh, I hate that! Drives me nuts! lol Have about 8 new ones to un-zip but they'll wait. This system is so darn revealing it just amazes me. Lil Clapton and BB Ridin w/the King right now. Pictures? Ha! Thinking tomorrow is gonna be some Gabriel and the boys or some Crims. I've got one foot nailed down and spinning in circles actually. I saved the best part of my system for last and just wow. I was actually thinking a sub but this cart has quashed those thoughts. Heavy now but mellowing a bit in time w/more pronounced mids and highs? Yea, I can live with that. This thing sounds truly amazing. Buddy stopped last nite and thought I was going to play stuff HE wanted to hear. How much did it cost ya to get the work done? I laffed at him and said, "You sound like someone's wife now STFU and enjoy! "Unless you're splitting the cost with me I don't want to hear a peep for the next few days. Stop anytime if you want but this is NOT all about you!" hahahaha Was great for a laff and he took it pretty well too! 😂 😂

Sounds great so far. The dude was great. He said in an out in 4 hours. Was 3 minutes early. Replaced 3 caps and 5-6 resisters in the Valhalla board, springs, went over the tone arm, oil change, set the cart up, put on the trampoline base board. Funny thing about it the table never got turned over. He had it in the stand and just reached under and did the work. Guess he should know where that g-spot is after 25 years working on them. Dated the table @ '90 or '91. Can't believe I ran that Linn cart all those years. About time for an over-haul too. This thing is totally handling anything I throw at it. The grin is ON! 😎 😂
