  1. So...is it necessary to be a scientist, engineer, or divine intervention to get a rsw15 amp repaired ?? If ANYONE has any info that's current on repairing one please post. I'm bout to hook up a Parasound 2125v2 (400x1 Parasound watts) and set the limit switch on it at 20hz, plug in a sub cable, trigger and move on. It would be nice to have the 15 self contained though.....

  2. 200 bucks was a steal, but fair on 62II's. You can't get decent books for that. $400 is what I paid for a pair of 82lIs, and sold them for the same a year later, both sets from Frys. As a bonus one guy said how about the DCM KX12's I had in my garage ? I said eh...not looking to sell. He said here's $400 for those instead of 82's, I said ok, you must really like em'. he did.

That is what my Son-In-Law kept saying to me. Seriously. I say it too, but then I do allow myself restraint and willingly accept sacrifice as a hedge against certain life gambles. Not everyone needs to be, or should be one way, or the other.

I just wanted to let you all know that right now, my Son-In-Law (Joe) is spending what may actually end up being his last remaining days on Earth laying face down on his Covid deathbed in a Lacrosse, Wisconsin hospital Covid-19 ICU ward. Three weeks prior having received a positive Covid-19 test. At a local hospital just last week, he was fighting the nurses hard against their recommendation of him being intubated, such a nice guy he is, right until he was all but passed out. The hospital staff finally intubated him just hours before he was Flight For Life helicoptered across the state. This is just a few days ago. He is at this time on full medical support. His prognosis is, if he does survive, he will likely require at least one lung transplant. One lung has now gone hard, and may soon collapse, or even explode. Who knows at this point what's happening to the rest of his organs as the disease has free reign and ravishes his body while his immune system is beat down from the blood cancer he recovered from just 4 years ago. Not like a live for today personality type to set up proper and legal family planning, JIK, you know? I know, it just takes time and money away from all the fun that can be had.

Reflecting upon this now, I suppose my wife and I probably will need to figure out how we are to now care for a daughter and one minor grandchild, 2 adult grandchildren. Financially, emotionally, legally, what else? His estate is entirely a mess. Thanks Son. You really did really well holding out on common sense and going full rebel on your way out. We should all learn a great lesson from your lifetime of anti-conformism. Allow me to be your voice tonight Joe, as your airways are entirely too full of plastic tubing... Go Proud Boys! **** Vaccines! **** Covid! We all love you Joe. Always have. Please have forgiveness for me. For you own sake, and for the sake of those gathered around you, tonight I pray for you, a swift and painless death.

Very sad, my condolences to the family and wishes for a recovery. We all should live the life we want, it comes with consequences for us all. They must be weighed against ones responsibilities and commitments.

  4. Ahh...kinda surprised this forum with some great speakers/gear has SO little info on great Sherwood receivers. I still want to answer this question for future inquiries. The s7910 and 9910 are outstanding in construction and sound. I have top of the line HK, Anthem, Classic Pioneer,Sansui, Kenwood, Marantz, Onkyo others of the 70's. The 7910 competes EASILY with any of them and not bested by any of them, but does best some. One of the better sounding and powerful sounding units I have heard from the golden era. If you get a chance to hear/buy one, you may get a surprise. I sure got nothing to gain, just want to give a heads up to anyone interested in the future.

2nd post where you accuse Klipsch of being in a conspiracy on medicine/vaccinations. It's the views of members, not Klipsch. You can stay out of this thread as well.

How iz it it YOU know what people are thinking ?? 3d time you falsely accused me of something. I was here about 20 years all good, but now I'm a racist, conspiracy or whatever YOU decide. The active ingredient maybe is YOU and YOUR personal bias ???.

  6. I have not read the whole thing but.....Is this an either or ? I use both, stream and FM at home. Sometimes I even listen to FM seriously for a little while. I use several different old 70's era radios. I exchange speakers and radios every few weeks for a change of pace, pretty interesting too. I use a small classic T antenna, between 20 and 40 miles away usually. I have a better antenna I'm gonna set up, outdoor rotating cheap dealeo. I get several stations pretty well 3 or 4 on meter, classic rock. I will admit it's maybe 15% of my listening, sometimes more or less. For absolute critical listening, no. For general music or even something more it's still alive, maybe life support but still.....There are internet, free /ad free classic rock stations that sound very good, maybe even bass heavy which I like. If you have high speed try Handcrafted Radio or Radio Shadow Deep Tracks, really serious classic rock that was too good for FM.
