Well friends... live without vinyl is possible but not worth living. I missed it so much , but there is still a little time left in my free time. Toto´s IV , 1982, CBS Records, is a good start to spin. Have to make myself familliar with the new MA 505 MK II Tonearm whose playing excellent with the Audio Technica AT V7 . A Good match especially for rockín music.

@AndreG. Herbert Grönemeyer Record " Bochum " is great . For you all here...Bochum is a city with 600.000 citizens , approx. 15 minutes by car from my living town. I was born in Bochum as well ...60 years ago ! Nice city with the famouse Musical " Starlight Express " whose performing since 3 decades and our Football Team " VFL Bochum 1848 " is playing in the first german league.

Well friend´s very nice what you´ve all spun here in the last time. Makes fun to read . I was busy again the whole week and finished some cable works ( 4 Pair RCA ) a couple of minutes ago. It´s allready 00.25 am. need to sleep now , as I´m not in the best health condition. See you .....

Hi mates 🙂 what shall I tell you ? The modem has been blown and it wasn´t so easy to get a new one quickly, than I´m busy with cable contract works , beeing busy to redesign my racks to build in the new dynaco pas 4 tube pre ( the modifiyed is a killer @Full Range ) had done 8 sets of diy rca cables and some new power cords as well for my own gear / purposes. The funny thing is ....since I have finished the hardware works on the Micro Seiki TT ....there really wasn´t any time to spin a single record Meanwhile I´m listening digital sources with the DYNACO Tube Pre and the Marantz SS Power Stage, what a dream team ..I can tell ya....... So , it was just a quick chim´in to let you know that I´m a live . Once I have finished all my works I´ll be here more often again.

Can´t tell you what happened here in the last past weeks so quickly ...the modem was blown and a nightmare story to get a new one, many many cable business, my own gear and rack rebuilding works at home, and so on. But I´m fine ..thanx so far Dave ..How about yours @Dave1291 , @JohnJ , @Full Range , @AndreG. ?

It´s done @Full Range 4 hours of work today ..... origin layout after my moddys Completion with Mundorf 4 x 1.0 uF 450 V Mundorf Evo Caps , 2 x 0.1 uF Mundorf Supreme Silver/ Gold Oil Caps 400V , 2 x 0.1 uF Mundorf Evo Caps 450V & 2 x 0.1 uF 650V also Mundorf Evo Caps & 6 x Silver Micas 1000uF 500 V plus assembly. After a few hours of operation it´s clear that the DYNACO PAS 4 is a worthy successor to the legendary high-end components from the 1970´s traditionell DYNACO Line of products. He plays now in heaven´s League . I `m going to continue the moddys with ELNA Silnic II or Nichicon filter Elcos , I will see in some month ...

Despite my satisfaction with the hybrid combination with my SS Powerstage Marantz SA11-S3, I could not let it go. The knowledge alone that there is still something going on, according to the moddys from the American DYNACO forum and subsequent euphoric enthusiasm of those who have done it,...it left me no peace in the head. The curiosity was too great , so I stared the moddys today . Yeah you´re right ...at the moment I´ll keep him like he is even if I got all caps & micas here to start up. But he sounds so excellent and is fully equipped with Wima caps . Gonna change the optical design as well with new silver poti bottoms and new silver device stands,you´ll see in a couple of weeks
