I’m a Chief Medical Officer and one in charge of our institutions COVID 19 response. We have focused on the safety and health of our patients and staff. This environment has been beyond frustrating to do everything you can to keep everyone safe! I have been working away from my wife and kids for ~7 years. My youngest is 9 so that has been tough. I am home every weekend and make the most of every second. I have a career I could have no where else but where I am. I struggle regularly if I. Am doing the right thing but my wife and kids are so sweet and love me more than I deserve and I think they may love me more than if I were there every day. I am probably delusional but they tell me how much they appreciate, love, care for and understand me regularly.

Yes...No....It really depends on how you feel about moving there! I can think of a lot of great reasons to move to the “City of Angels” and a few downsides. It really all comes down to what makes you happy (sounds like Dr Phil corny but it is true). Do what feels right and you are going in the right direction! No matter what you do I am sure it will be the right decision. The key is to not give up what’s right because it is scary/tough/people tell you it is wrong/etc...
