Older thread, but thats what I did, ksf8.5 as main ksb 2.1 as rear an ksb 1.1 as back rear, have kv1 an ksc 1 as centers

Ksf8.5 Ksb 2.1 Ksb 1.1 Ksc 1 Kv1 Kg.5 Quintet v5 Sub 8 ii Ksw150 All older but still sound great to me!!

Power amps that are worth it are not cheap, this opens another can of worms. I got caught in the wormhole! Majority of my power amps go to lcr. I added more speakers so I got amps, so there are no dead spots in the room, or run at lower 4ohms, to keep from running more wire. 4 ft apart in height.

Ksb 1.1 looks like their outdoor speaker line. Got abs plastic.

Yes it old thread will not argue there. Ksb2.1 book selves are great. They can keep up with the ksf8.5 same wattage maybe 20hz different in low end. Don't quote me on it. The ksb 2.1 has 6 or 6.5 woofer. Ksb 1.1 has 5.25. They made ksb 3.1 which had a 8 in but instead got the ksf with the 8

I just recently put a whole 7.1 ks series together. For under 150 be patient an jump on right deals! Ksf 8.5, ksb 2.1 ksb 1.1, ksw10, ksc5. I love it! The bookshelves still had the box with both sets! I been wondering if any one has had any luck daisy chain off the sub( line out). To a external amp? To another set of speakers. I know it can be done but just wondering if it was worth it. This is something I've never tried it, I'm already using lfe on another sub.

Its taken me years, but finally got them all ,ksf 8.5, ksb 2.1, ksb, 1.1, ksw 10, ksc5, all on the used market, I know the ref series is better but I enjoy this series, especially when I can get them all for less than 200!!

acquired both an Haven't had time to a+b compare. Have the energy take 5 classic connoisseur, an klipsch quintet v5. So was wondering which is better. The energy comes with 8in sub klipsch didn't. But sound wise which are the 5 best speakers..
