  1. Time to unzip a few! Gotta get outta this "waitin on the plumber" state of mind. No problemo on this Richard Wright "Wet Dreams" remix/master by Steve Wilson here @Full Range. Tight, clean, open and just sounds amazing. Crazy good lp. Wet Dream is the debut solo album by Pink Floyd keyboardist Richard Wright, released in 1978. Wet Dream was self-produced and Wright wrote all the songs himself, except "Pink's Song", which was co-written with his then-wife, Juliette, who, as Juliette Gale, had provided vocals to a pre-Pink Floyd song "Walk with Me Sydney". Wet Dream was recorded at Super Bear Studios, Alpes-Maritimes, in early 1978,[2] the same studio where bandmate David Gilmour would record his eponymous solo album just weeks after the recording of Wet Dream. Wilson's work has totally opened this lp up from the original pressing. Crazy good and just keeps getting better.
  2. I'm just waitin on a plumber. Time to dump some bottled water in the coffee maker. Day 4. Welcome to Duckburg where you have two options. 100$ and hour or 20$ an hour from a friend. I selected option 2 on the menu.
  3. @Mycuff Don't worry about a thing with that turntable. He's got room for ONE more tone arm! I can't wait. I KNOW it's gonna happen! 😂 💪😂😂😂😍
  4. 8 degrees, sunny with about 4 inches on the ground. Blah, supposed to be 40's and up next week here in Duckburg. Carry on!

    The Other Discs

By golly @JohnJ think ya just did it with that one. Gonna have to throw it on and tweek mah twin 19's a bit. THAT could be a good thing.with this pile I've got laying here! Thanks! Love my babygirlie girl! Funny how years ago ppl laffed at me talking about her on bass 20 years ago or so. Once again, I took 'em to the river and baptised them all! I'd heard of her before he transitioned to bass then I heard MORE about her when she did. The first time I ever heard her live I was sittin on a tour case backstage at the 07 Crossroads in Chitown. Yea, that was her Beck gig on you tube and Beck always was a total a$$ in my book but he had every right to be. I saw that when he was with Jimmy Page and EC in the Yaredbirds. He only got better as we all know. He took a liking to her because she was doing HER thing on the bass and damn good at it. It's about respect. Simple.
  6. I'll just keep my comment short .
  7. Gotta watch this place. Be warned in advance. 😂 Happy Birthday! Friends start passing it can truly mess ya up for a while. Soooo many good friends are gone. I just smile when I hear the news and thing of all the good times we used to have. Then every once in a while something hits ya outta no where and y laff some more. Just crazy for me anyway. My tombstone is already taken care of. All they have to do is add the date and this: "Whatever they say don't believe it. It's all a lie!" with a smiley face added. Those "herbs" will prolly be 8' tall small trees by fall. Make sure ya cover them w/cheese cloth in the hot sun. Keep an eye on your neighbor w/her Fiskars pruning too! 😂
  8. Had an old beautiful brick for my first house. Quarter sawn oak, sliding panel doors, built in quarter sawn kitchen cabinets and I loved that house. Built in 1920 by a guy who owned the brickyard in that area of town His superintendant built one exactly like it next door but had one less window. If you could turn back time... Did I ever tell you how I abhor plumbing? That was the start of it all. I'll paint, shovel snow, wash cars, climb telephone poles, rig, jump outta airplanes, do PLF's off a chicken coop roof and just about anything else on the planet EXCEPT plumb! Couple weeks ago the ice maker stopped making ice. Oldest daughter was all over it and replaced the water line on the back of the fridge. Perfect! Today I got a card from the Duckburg water dept hangin on my front door telling me to check for leaks. Yup, I'm on it and made the call only to find out I had a 300$ water bill this month. Normally it's 60$. Checked the crawl space out and yup.the ice maker line had broken down in the basement too. Oldest daughter was here in a flash and made quick work of it. On the upside when I checked in at the Water Dept they said I'd signed up for some water leak insurance. Must of had a weak moment but they said they'd pay the majority of it when I filed a claim. Crazy day in Duckburg. See why I hate plumbing? I'll do anything BUT plumb! Sure glad that stripper pole in the crawl space is made outta brass! She asked and I told her. She was laffin and gonna tell her sister! I told her to go price a 12' lond 3-inch brass stripper pole with all the hardware. 😂😂😂 Called the youngest in Phoenix to wish her a Happy Birthday and yup she was out having dinner w/friends and asked me about my stripper pole after I sang happy birthday to her. Her dinner gaggle was loving me on speaker phone. Lotsa great comments in the background. lol Carry on!
  9. Sounds like fun! The first arrow that lands in my back yard? Going out to get it when the range is clear, snap it over my knee and give it back to him in two pieces. This kid has zero common sense but I get that too. lol
  10. Kid's dad is an electrical engineer so that kid has everything electric you can imagine. Got an electric bike last spring. I'm sittin out back and there he is. grinnin at me. Then it was the collection of toy guns to shoot targets with. Not dart guns but something that fires lil wads. So he's gonna show me how to shoot. Then it was hit football he kicked up on the roof, which took out 3 pieces of soffit. His dad was gonna fix it but that never happened so now there are 4 pieces after the high winds. So Dad wonders how I am? Pray for me cause those arrows are the real deal. Maybe his dad could make me an electric chair?
  11. Gray skies, a bit more snow and cold af outside. Middle of next week they're calling for mid-40's? Crazy. Neighbor kid next door sent me a txt to see what was shakin. Told him no cabin fever yet. Then I asked if his 12 yr old had been out deer hunting w/his 40# compound bow he got for Christmas. lolol All I need is a kid with a compound bow and 8 arrows next door. Can't wait til spring and he's out in HIS back yard with it. I'm a dead man!
  12. HA!!! Let's go! Let's roll baby roll !

Sooooo, what I'm seeing is the Lions game this evening is on Peacock (ABC) too so that's out. Last nite I missed Taylor Swift and her shenaigans @ the KC game. THAT hurt especially since I'm a Swifty. 😂 😂 💪 NOT! 😂 This is what I've been talking about happening in the NCAA thread for two years in addition to the portal garbage. Hey, what a deal!!! Thanks for the info @001. I can pay 60$ a year for Peacock, THEN I can pay another 60$ for Paramount +. So when does it end? Wait, I'm paying 225$ for Time Warner a month just to get what I want to see sports wise. So factor in the ADDITIONAL charges? Seriously? Oh wait, the word on the street is TWC is going to offer a box to pick up the REST of the stuff for an additional 60$ a month? Seriously? 300$ a month to watch TV and get the sports you want, which used to be FREE? "THEY" want me to continue to feed the machine? I'll break out the radio first. Oh SNAP, they'll control the radio station links too. Suck it up buttercup or join me for a rousing afternoon watching TVland or METV! Wait gotta have the "Iron Chef" package too including Bobby Flay, Martha Stewart, Jullllllia and the barefoot Goddess so I can keep up with the "Food Porn" thread here. Now ask me how I really feel? 😂
  16. @Full RangeMine's in a pile! rofl I'll get back w/ya. My dude just laffed at me that time I sent you that Floyd? lp. I wasn't too happy with that outcome. I get down that way he's gonna hear about it in person too. I'll wiggle it into the convo some how THAT you can take to the bank!
  17. Gotta do what ya gotta do!
  18. @Tarheel well ya did it again. Yesterday I broke out the big Henckel's and went to work on a "Chuck" roast for a big crockpot of chili. Threw it into a big skillet and hit it HARD w/the hot sauce Master's best. Sent the daughter a pic and naturally she wanted some until I told her I hit it with the hot sauce. 😂 💪 Picked up a quarter in August and just had to make a call and snag another 20# of ground beef??? What's wrong with the picture? lol Sure she's got a crock pot but it must take too long to get things ready. lol We got this! 😂 Cold as sheet here in Duckburg, just enough snow for ground cover. Still have all my fingers intact and thinking about blowins some dust outta the LS. Had to clean the coffee pot sooooo we're chill. No cabin fever here yet!

Chiefs game here was on Paramount Plus and not televised. You must have more money than I do @001. Gettin crazy out there. RESIST! lol Taylor get all that ice scraped off her loge window? Asking for a friend. 😂
  20. They just laff at us. Ugh! lol Yea, the planet and turmoil is just hype. Don't worry about a thing just stick to that daily routine. Feed the machine. This too shall pass. 😂
  21. Werkin moosic for ya @JohnJ
  22. Here's the back story on their fam @JohnJ. Two brothers and their family immigrated to the US from Greece. Both served in WWII then returned to Duckburg and their family. Ole Pete ran a shoe shine/hat blocking store on the main drag til he retired and passed. He never married. His brother and his wife started the Gyro business and they've always just killed it around here. Great people and a great family. His son Chris is running the business now with his wife and daughter. Those are the two gals you met. They pretty much run the place cause Chris isn't really a people person like the rest of the family is. With the girls in there the place is ALWAYS busy cause they take the time to talk and get to know people. They're just sociable and good peeps. Chris is all business and doesn't talk much to anyone unless he really knows them. Chris's daughter has carried a 4.0 average the entire way thru high school and is now going to college doing the same thing. 4.0 all the way. The entire family is a plus for the community and everyone loves them so they support them. EVERYlthing is great they have they make it all from scratch. All the pastry, etc.
  23. Have to let me know how it went down for ya @billybob if ya decide to do it. It's 40 stops @amped that's prolly just a partial listing.
