I had lower back pain for years. In and out of the Chiro dude every week paying out of pocket.. Finally he told me to go see a doc cause something was up. They wound up removing 4 huge (according to the surgeon) spurs from my lower spine. He told me before I went in I had a curvature in my lower back that happened long ago. I asked if he could handle it and he said yup. Rough ride for a few weeks but now I have zero pain. Hope they get it sorted quickly for ya George. They'll figure it out.

Picked this up on the advice from a friend after listening to a couple cuts on youtube. The 25th anniversary of it's release and the first on vinyl. Nice 180 gram double gatefold that's over before you know it. It's a tough find for sure and I checked a few places for it and finally found it on Amazon @ about $10 more. Bezos has enough money but I couldn't find it so there's that. They only had 3 left after I picked up mine. Dave Alvin - King of California Some good stuff imo.

When I was a kid I had some portable scanner you could talk into. I hit the county fair one night w/a buddy and was playin around with it in the car. Picked up the Sheriff's office commo w/them talkin so I stuck it in my hip pocket and had a lil earplug in. Yea, it''s workin I'm hearn the crap so I had an idea. I got on mic and said this is some badge number and there's a fight at the ferris wheel. So Tom and I stood there and watched every deputy and cop there run to the ferris wheel to find nothing. I gave 'em about two more workouts watchin them run all over for nothing. Ya ever see fat old deputies run? OMG we were dyin laffin. Then I could see them lookin around so it was time to go. hahaha I'd forgotten all about it til the guy mentioned it to me about 25 years later when I saw him at the fair. 😂

When I had my old 928 Porsche I'd have to run down to Cbus to the dealer once in a while. Just to nose and see some local kid who moved down there and worked lining up the rides for repair. One day when I stopped he was laffin and said to stick around if I wanted to see something funny. So I did. Nothin to do anyway. This was like 30 years ago. In rolls an F-1 red Ferrari with the roof off and some skinny greasy sleezeball in 50's attire and a woman dressed exactly the same. It was retro all the way complete w/wrap around shades. I about died seeing them crawl out. So this kid and I walk down and watch it unfold in the service area w/some lil fat guy carryin a breifcase and wearing a black suit and tie who'd been waiting not talking to anyone. So the kid introduces him to the couple and said he was going to tune it up for them. I'm like wtf so watch. Panel's removed for him and he opens his briefcase. A puter and a few lil wrenches and screwdrivers all laid out on a new out of the package cover. Plugs the puter in, pulls out a lil screwdriver and starts tweeking this and that while the engine was running. I heard that thing smooth right out like a lion ready to pounce. Then he closed it all up. They thanked him and everyone left. 15 minutes max. I walked back upstairs and the kids telling me this. The guy that brought it down from Cleveland was only the gardner and the woman with him was the maid for some rich dude who owned the car. Whaaaa??? Then he told me it cost the guy 5k for that lil fat dude to come down from Detroit, spend the nite so he was there in the morning, tweek it then back to Detroit. The couple bringing it down was a perk from the owner. So every time they brought it down, that was they way they dressed for the ride and it had to be a perfect sunny day for a ride otherwise it was a no go. I can't begin to imagine what people thought as they saw him on the inter-state dressed like that crusin in a million dollar ride. You'd have to run easy peasy w/only a 6-8 clearance on the highway. Just crazy and had I not seen it I wouldn't have ever believed it. Wild for sure. lol My motto? If it ain't broke don't fix it and he knew it! lol I did get a deal on a couple citronella candle buckets today @ CVS. 3 left @ $1.69 each. Snagged 'em all. SCORE!

Last one I had done took about 5 minutes total. Pic first, told him nothing has changed 2 minutes later he said I was all green and good to go. Pressed a couple buttons and out rolls the laminated card ready to go. The pic? Eh, who cares when you're ancient like I am. Let 'em shoot me.

THAT would be a fun watch. They'd have their work cut out for 'em for sure. Those hummingbirds around here move at warp 3. lol

Sittin here w/mah foot goin. You're as bad as I am Maynard. You've seen my posts. I'm ALL over the place BUT if it's got a beat or brings the heat I'm down. Everyone's different with their likes/dislikes I guess but this place sure is fun. Not a darn thing wrong with sharin what make you tick. THAT I learned early on in life. Let's roll brother!
