If ya don't do it already be a bit more selective before you pull the trigger. Hit stuff on youtube and listen to the full album THEN buy it if you like it. Lil bit of time will save ya some money in the long run and you'll have an even better selection of what you enjoy and resonates with you down the road. I always bought just about everything that was good to find out later there was only one good song on the LP. Youtube starts and it's an entirely different ball game today. Disclaimer: Sometimes 10 years down the road as time changes some of the songs that didn't resonate DO resonate. Kinda maybe.. 😂

Give it a listen cause it's story time!!! 😂 ^^^ Don't know who posted it on youtube but that's his signature. They hit Cleveland so I was hangin ready to eat after the show. Got to talkin about things to do up on the North coast of Ohio so I mentioned hitting Cedar Point an hour West in Sandusky. Best coasters on the planet and a great time for the families w/kids, etc. https://www.cedarpoint.com/ Yup, they were down. Unc drove the bus and a few of us drove by ourselves. We got there and Duane said he wanted to go eat and have a few beers but not at some park w/a couple million people. Ok, we hit a lil Italian bar I knew of w/great food. No one had a clue who we were and we had one H3LL of a time. I just had to have him back at the bus so he could roll out w/the rest of the gaggle. lolol It worked and I became one of the tour guides for em every time they hit Cleveland. I woke up in the bar parking lot the next morning and drove home a survivor. People wonder WHY they built the Rock Hall of Fame in Cleveland? Seriously? 😂 😂 Today the lil Italian bar is gone and tbh I can't even tell you what's there today. THAT was a weekend I'll NEVER forget. Young, dumb and a pair waaay bigger than my head but I survived it. First time I saw Tedeschi -Trucks was in Ft Wayne, Indiana so I walked over to the merch table and filled my shorts. There was Unc! Yup, he's still drivin and we had some laffs. So if you ever see TTB look for the old fat white haired guy hangin around in bibs counting money. lolol Tell him his Cleveland tour guide said hello and watch his reaction. He acts stupid he's checkin you out, whip the story on him and watch! That's my story and I'm stickin to it.

The old high school auditorium held about 700 and had a balcony. Michael was 6-7 then and they were just starting to catch fire. Duckburg would still be talkin about it. Hendrix tickets were 5-6 bucks back then and The Five were just starting? I kept doing the math thinking about the headline in the Duckburg Gazette... "Local kid brings in the Jackson Five and loses $2k" 😂 Hey George. Spit me out another worm I lost mine... 😂

Walked outside and eyeballed the dandelions to see if they were dying after a few rounds Saturday putting down some fertilizer. Blah. Sat out back a bit in the sun til I saw my mail mama makin the turn. Good lookin lil chickie fillin in on by buddies route. No pies made here. Salt huh? How'd that work for ya @grasshopper? I totaled out a big batch of bean soup once kinda like that. The grandkids weren't too happy but everyone lived.

Hmmm thunkin... We all know the past is the past and it's a place that can never be recreated. The FIRST group that comes to mind today is Tedeschi - Trucks and the gaggle. Right down your way @Emile. Outta Jacksonville and they're SOLD OUT for every show. Derek Trucks on guitar along with wife Susan Tedeschi. Derek's uncle Butch (drummer & founding member of the Allman Bros) threw him a slide and the boys saddled him up when he started playing as a kid. Today? He runs with the legends. Susan got the nod from Dylan so there's that. It's also refreshing today to see their kids workin the shows with the band. The band? Yup, you'll get horney for sure cause they flat cook. Gonna turn your old bones onto some Florida swamp reggae brother! Get those Capezio's on and ditch your platform's! 😂 2+ hours of bliss EVERY show. Tickets? Get 'em early and be prepared to stand for the entire show. EVERYone stands for the entire show as a sign of love & respect from the kids today. We ALL know what PWK would say. "BULLSHIT" Buckle up, put your helmet on and crank it up! The times they are a changin!

Actually recovering from and eye appt w/my eyemama. Lil shot of Eyelea again so she just had to hit a vein. Vision is great but the white of my eye is now red sooo layin around for the most part of the day. That's the story and I'm stickin to it Dad. 😂
