Picked up Judas Priest - Rising in The East on DVD. If you like priest then I recommend this concert. Reminds me of the old days!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Yes I plan on giving someone in the D.C. area a good deal. This is my new Salamander Furniture. When we got our DLP TV we decided to go with walnut instead.
  4. I posted three photos to this thread. Can you see them???
  5. I can't believe no one is intersested. Besides putting the furniture up for sale on Ebay does anyone have a suggestion on where I can sell these items. Thanks, Rob
  6. Here is the damage I was talking about. Other then the scratches on the base this stuff is in great shape.
  7. I have some Salamander furniture FOR SALE. WHY? When I bought my 52" DLP my wife and I decided to go with a triple 20 Walnut/Black from Salamander. This is what I have FOR <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />SALE: 1. S40 Cherry/Black, S40 Door Perforated/Cherry, S40 Panels Perforated Only Damage - Base has a couple scratches that were repaired with a touchup kit. 2. Pennisula20 Cherry/Black - Holds a 36" CRT Television with no problems 3. S30 EXT Cherry/Black, S30 Panels Perforated I live in the Washington, D.C. area. I don't want to go through the hassle of shipping any of these items. So if you live in the area and are interested in buying some high quality A/V Furniture send me a PM. Make me a reasonable offer! Rob
  8. What a loser! I'm so special! No your not Bit**! Strap on a Rucksack and get to hump'in!
  9. We've watched it 4 times so far. Great series!
  10. AGH! growing pains, I remember those days. Go for seperates or a high end AVR.
  11. I might get this new one from Phillips.
  12. garymd is correct, the speaker parts for the forte's and hersey's regardless of series are not the same.
  13. What year are the Herseys? Series I's or II's?
  14. Herseys and fortes are similar the biggest difference is the fortes have a passive radiator which will improve bass response and should present a better soundstage. I believe the horns and woofers are the same (Not 100% sure). * I never did a side by side comparison of these speakers.
  15. Try audioquest, they make some good interconnects and speaker cables at reasonable prices. check www.audioadvisor.com for clearence and sale prices. Rob
  16. As a former owner of both the fortes and the herseys, I would recommend that you leave the fortes as your main and use the herseys as your rears. Just as you implied in your question. Enjoy, Rob
