PSG,
Did you aquire the Heresy as a single? Is the other still available? I have been looking for a Heresy to do center duty.
How do you get the pictures into the posting?
Dan
I got an idea, give her your LaScalas and buy yourself the Klipschorns. Even better yet...
...buy her a card, keep the LaScalas and get yourself some klipschorns anyway.
Speakers are hooked up left and right. It has a soft hum and the only source I have tried is the tuner with no antenna so AM only. It has a cool little tuning tube that glows blue.
hightone,
I graduated from Downers North class of '86. Have you always been in that area, or did you come from somewhere else?
Lots of good radio in the Chicago area.
This is a picture of my old 1951 Chevy half ton. These trucks came from the factory with inline six cylinder engines. The straight 6 engines were incredibly durable and very easy to work on. There was nothing more complicated on them than the type of bolt you might find on a potbelly stove. The engines are commonly know in GM circles as stovebolt sixes. Most guys who restore these trucks drop in a small block chevy V8. I was happy to tell anyone who asked that mine still had the stovebolt6 in it.
There you have it.
Has anyone had any experience with The Thorens TD147? I'm thinking of picking up the Jubilee on Audiogon tonight but there is very little info on the net about them.
