For me the idea of being able to have Klipsch speaker everywhere that interest me. I don't mind blowing $700 (include importing to Australia) just for the sake of having some Klipsch in my car. My friend have bose in his Mazda 6 Lux, i want to have Klipsch, i'm sure they would sound better than many other availble car stereo, besides i will only be using them when needed in the car with the ipod. When i leave the car i will bring the speaker back in the home. The sub will be sitting on the back seats. You know the IFI is the easiest way to have Klispch in your car. I am actually getting a friend to buy it for me from Canada and to arrange the cheapest shipping availble. I will be getting them in about 2 weeks or so.

Here is cost about $2000 to get a decent setup in your car, with average sound, may be Alpine or similar brand that are Ipod ready. I started searching ways to save and the idea came to me. Just to the Ipod music get it to come out the klipsch IFI, i'm sure the sound could even be better than a lot of the car speaker that's availble out there. Anyone have any idea on how to do it? I just want to know, how can you power the IFI, just power it inside a car, what do you need etc.. this could be the cheapest best alternative out there, and interesting project. Then it would be Klipch everywhere, even in my car... ouuuhhhray!!

I guess i just need to be careful next time i'm moving the speakers for any kind of cleaning or for whatever reasons. If they do get damage again, i still have 3 spares left, they are so cheap, i can buy some more later on. Monoblock replacement spikes might be a good idea, but too expensive, unless they make a real difference and look a lot better... just my -0.0002c

Hi, is it possible to get the RSW 15 to work in Australia and how?? RSW 15 is 120v 50hz and here is australia we uses 240v 60hz... what to do.... ???? I want to import the 15..!!

I got the Etymotic ER-6i today, they are quite nice, very light and slim fits really well into the ears and isolate extremely well too. Sound quality just a little bit better than the Ipod earplug, for the price difference i think the ipod ear plug is a better buy. Bass is slightly better, i think it's because of the good isolation. If you don't want to be disturbed by any noise they would be the best thing out there. You can barely hear anything once you wear them, if i'm not listening to any music i can even hear my heart beating and my own breathing. Next time i'm flying, they would be of great use. The wires is too thin, they could break easily.

Now when someone tells me that man, you should have got some bose man, i just reply, "yeah mate, but i can't afford bose, they are too high class for me" May be you should get it dude, they are just incredible. BOOM BOOM BOOM, screaeeeeeechhh... well many people like that, just like many people like magic, and John Edwards.... and only some are audiophiles.

Most of the new Dvd even if not THX have really good sound these days. I just got Chronicles of riddick, and i could notice the sound improvements over most older movies.

I have the Ipod plug, the Koss Plug, and a few other headphones nothing too expensive just low ends well known brands, beyerdynamics dtx-30, sennheizer pmx-60, koss ksc-55, a few more koss and sony.. etc... at the moment the koss plug and the beyer are the best sounding. I like the nice bass of the Koss plug but can never get it to stay inside my ears.. they always fall out. That's why i wanted to get the Etymotics.. just by looking at them they look like they'd go inside the ear easy. as long as soung quality, i was hoping they are very good due to the fact that i'd be paying Aud$199 and also i've heard quite a lot about the brand. I know though that there is no where else than here on the klipsh forum, that i'd get the best insight. thank you all.. i'll get the ER-6i since i can increase the impedance like Dragonfyr said and see how good it really is.

Luckily, the distributor here in Australia carry all the spare parts including the legs, and they are very cheap, Aud$4.50 , that's like US$3.. so i'm buying 4 of them.

Now, the more you put into the RF 7, the more you'll get back. Better amps, DeanG mods, etc.. etc.. a nice rsw15.. keeps getting better.. Take good care of the wood, cherry is just magnificant. As for the feet, you need to be very careful moving them around, i just broke one of them. They should be built exactly them same designed but in metal, that would rock. If anyone outthere does metal works please, make some business... just one more mod for the RF7.

Oh no, i'm so sad, I can't believe it, i broke one of the RF 7 legs, i was doing some cleaning around the speaker and i tried to move the speaker a little when suddenly i heard a crack!! sound. I checked under the speaker and there i found a little piece of the leg with the rubber part. I thought i wouldn't matter but the speaker is not stable anymore, it looses balance. Can i buy these parts from Klipsch pleaseeee.. i will pay for the parts and the shipping. Please help, i've been taking so much care no to touch or even get the slightest scratch on them. i can't see them like that.. i just want to buy the replacement legs... i'd buy 4 of them.. if for spares..

Hi, I was just wandering which one should i buy, i thought they were both the same, but i saw this graph shows that the ER-6i has a 8bd higher in ear output. Now which one would be better, i will be using them with my ipod, but i don't fancy the white too much because they get dirty very easy. Sound is more important, if i have to get the white one then the ER-6i it is. Have a look at the graph. The graph indicates that 6i earphones have 8 dB higher sound output and increased bass compared to the original ER-6 earphones. The dotted red line is the reference response of the open ear to live performances (CD equalization).

MrMcGoo, The best way to work with SP2 is to format your PC first, Install, Windows XP, followed by SP 1 and SP 2 then, all your drivers and softwares that you need. Specially stuffs like winamp etc.. with streaming radio, or online games... etc ..

Bose is a very big and rich company, they are making a lot more money than Klipsch is i am sure about that. There are more Bose users than Klipsch all around the world. Even third world countries actually have BOSE shops and offices all around. The thing with them is that if they don't know how to build "speakers" "may be they do" " but they are excellent at Marketing... Even here in Australia (godamit) (supposed to be more civilized), out of 100 people, i am sure that 99% know about bose and may be only 2 - 3% would know about klipsch, B&w, Ariel Acoustics or Martin Logan etc... I've travelled a lot, i've been to Fiji, Bali, Seychelles, Mauritius, Reunion, Rodrigues, Madasgascar ( they are all holiday Islands and they all have BOSE and bose is very well know by almost everyone. They've put they idea in people's mind that small is better and new, bid is old and bad. I once invited a few friends to my place just wanted to show my setup, mind you my system consist of R7's RC7, RF 35 a Sunfire Sig sub!!!, Earthquakes 12", they all listened, their jaws dropped!!! But then, someone said " you know if you had a BOSE instead, the sound would have been much better!!!! and they all agreed Uhuh. I was shocked, and i understood, that we can't change some ordinary people to Audioplile. Only Audiopliles know the difference and who cares. It's only recently that audioplile have started to reveal the bads news about Bose. But who cares they already made billions. May be they have started to drop now...

Pure MINK Oil is the best thing you can get to treat any ind of leather, but most of the stuffs the claim to be mink oil are not pure. They contain a few other oils and some chemicals like silicone,... I have tried Pure Mink oil on my sunfire sigs and it made the surrounds a lot softer than when i bought the sub. I don't know if it's a good thing, i supposed it should help the rubber last longer, since that's what the manual says. Just in regards, i noticed that all my leather garments looks and feel better after treating them with any mink oil. I tested a few old shoes, that i was not using for a long time, that went all hard and crunchy, i can honestly say that applying the oil it just absorbed so much of it and was like alive again and look like new. I tried other leather treatment and conditioners but none works as good as the mink. I say just try and learn for yourself, it;s that simple.

Why don't you just get a full RSX/ RCX system for your movies and RF's for your music. I am planning to build a 7.1 Highend Computer speaker system that would beat all multimedia speakers out there soon, it will consist of a Denon AVR 3805, 4 RSX 4, 2 RSX 5 and 1 RCX 4 and a RW 12 sub . Dude Air Purifier is a very good idea!!! I got one in my car, i need to find one for the room soon. Is that the one that uses electromagnetism or something and ionise the dust particle and repel them away right!!
