I just set up my Brother in law with the RB-25s, RS-25s, and the RC-25s with the Pioneer elite 45tx reciever. Great price.. What sub well he bought an SVS instead of the klipsch... i would recommend the Samsung DLP rear projection sets.. they are not as sexy as the plasma but they have a small footprint and have no burn in issues... when the bulb goes out you just replace it. about 2-400 for the bulb lasts about 3-5 years. the picture is better IMO then Plasma and DLP is revolutionizing the Front Projection world as we speak IF you want more info check out Onecall and talk to jason

keep your 42 inch fuji and go front projection... for the price of a 50 inch plasma from panasonic or pioneer (5-7000 and up) or the 50 inch DLP from Samsung (3600) you could get a dlp front projector and a nice stewart or dalite screen then spend 500 on the cables needed and you would have the real home theater experience. Doing it this way also saves us on both items Home theater only on the Front projection tv only on the plasma.... If you were thinking about retiring the Fuji to the bedroom well there are numerous sub 3000 displays that are good for bedroom use....

TBH MOON im not concerned with the wattage as i am the digital design will it lose that fabled warm sound that HK is known for going only digital... Hopefully someone will report soon

To meet your requirements for an AC-3 RF you will have to go Pioneer elite 49TX or TXI or buy a newer yamaha that has the AC-3 RF in. I have the DSPA3090 with my klipsch set up and its good but I am in the market for something a bit warmer to tame the Horns..

I read on the HK website that the 525 has wide-bandwidth component inputs does this mean it will pass a legit hd signal? thanks. Any comments on performance would be appreciated as well.

I know this is a stupid question but here goes. I have a yamaha dspa 3090 which can be used as a preamp.. My question is if i purchase 3 older 2 channel amps how do i hook it up to the yamaha? Wouldnt one of them support the front left and right channel then how would i hook up the center and surrounds? the center is just one channel neither right nor left. Or should i look for a 3 channel amp and use the internal amp for the rear speakers.. Please help

Rexx have you checked who the warranty is through yet? I just bought one on ebay for 800 new from the original owner who claims she has the receipt and hasnt filled out the warranty cards yet. I am having some problems with here at with the shipping of 55 dollars she added that comes to 855. Going the buydigicom way the price is 860 so any info you can provide will be helpful

Understand your points Scott. I have tried to walk her through this process and now she is seeing the bigger picture. I never doubted she was an honest seller just somewhat niave. Anyways looks like the deal is still on once i verify that my cc is reimbursed. bruins unfortunately its a she and she is not very knowledgable.. Im not a sexist but this woman is getting to me. She just emailed me and said she can now take the credit card through paypal and wants to keep the deal going forward (her Words) This auction ended nicely but then she tried to guage me on shipping we finally agreed on 55 dollars shipped double boxed and insured which is still slightly high but o well. Then I asked for her paypal id she then sent me a Paypal invoice which i paid using my credit card. My cc authorized the amount and she apparently denied it because she was unaware of the 2.9%. Now the paypal site shows them sending it back to my cc for credit but my cc company dosent have that info yet and im being told that it could take up to 30 days for that to happen. This doesnt go against my actual credit but my available credit on the card which isnt a problem since i have over 4000 left but its still a pain to contact them and paypal. I told her that it was probably best for her to relist as i was only going to pay via paypal and thats when i received her latest email stating she could now take the cc. Im not going to pay her fees as this wasnt stated in the auction and if she cant accept that then no deal. I will have to go elsewhere and now maybe i will go to Josh and get the elite instead no not the 49txi but maybe the 45tx i just want the video upconversion but oh well.

I just won an auction for the Denon 3803, I know i have been himin and haain for weeks nay months on my next purchase, Pioneer elite or HK or Denon or seperates. In the end i went with the denon after listining to it and the ROTEL although i felt the Rotel was slightly more musical the Denon was superior in almost every other way. 800 bones for the Denon now the 3090 goes on the Ebay selling block. thanks for all the help in my decision

Just as i predicted years ago that dvd would be huge i predict that both DVHS and HD-DVD are both only stopgaps for the future. the future is almost certainly pay on demand material or store on command. The ability to pick anymovie anytime in any format ws or ps dd or dts 5.1 or 7.1 HD or 480i this is all going to be available in the near future. the industry is trying to bleed us dry with these other formats first and because we must have NOW we will bite. 200 dvds and now i must consider replacing them with hd-dvds then by the time i do that hard disk recorders will undoubtly be available Rant over
