  1. you paid $850 @ tweeter?? man that places charges a lot. i sell klipsch and we list ours @ $750. well you made a great choice going with the rf3's, i think they are a lot cleaner speaker.
  2. best sub ever, hands down M&K MX5000, if you owned a svs, it would become a new plant holder, or maybe some type of smoking device when you brought the MX5000 home.
  3. heck for $700 it buys you a used truck and a hell of a road trip.
  4. no highs, no lows, it must be BOSE
  5. do the rb5's, the sound much cleaner but will lack the bass, but if clarity in the midrange is important to you i would do the rb5's. and also i would do the 3803, the processing and features is unheard of in that price point
  6. another suggestion though....the rb5's will sound better so if you rotate the horn and make it work as best as possible and maybe use a small bead of silicon to seal the driver....that may work.
  7. I would choose the denon avr5803. the b&k is a fine choice but the denon has some clear advantages. processing--great chips from analog devices, such as dual hammerhead sharc processers. 16 burr brown d/a converters. pure direct mode--doubles front and rear d/a converters while turning off all video processing and display for maximum stereo listening. THX ultra 2--brand new technology over the 10 year old ultra, helps in movie and MUSIC playback. video conversion--takes all composite, svideo and switches to component at no video loss (100 mhz component switching, 48 in needed to pass 1080i) plenty of inputs--including denon digital link (when used with denon dvd 9000 passes all information including dvdaudio through a digital cable) also has 5 digital coax ins, including 4 digital coax ext in for a new surround format that is coming out that is all uncompressed digital sound that uses the digital coax ins. POWER--170x7.....need i say more!!!
  8. i am excited to vist one of these theaters, i wish they had a list of theaters that are klipsch equiped. i am tired of listening to jbl speakers..
  9. that setup works great!! i sell klipsch and had a customer do that in their setup. the speakers are very musical, if you match the speakers with a rsw10 you would have no regrets at all.
  10. I would go with the rb5 speakers, the midrange and clarity are better the then rf3 IMO. match the rb5 with a nice sub (rsw10) and it would sound great!!
  11. Ok guys here is a question that i have been thinking about way too much. RSW12 vs RSW15. The speakers that i am getting are front rf5 maple center rc7 maple rear rs7 white surround back rs3 white My only deliema is what sub to get, my room is 2 small for any of this equipment (11x15) but o well, is the rsw15 worth the difference from the rsw12?? any help would be great in making my decesion. (damn klipsch for not making the rsw12 in maple!!)
