  1. I was able to get the Denon 3803 from Tweeter for only 899.00. This will give you 7.1.
  2. Here is a question. Would the RB-75 be a better pick for rears then the RS-7's?
  3. I saw it and agree with you 100%. Same thing happen last week with that so called electrician. That was kinda funny. Steve, should have the power to kick them out if they act that way.
  4. I get very week bass. It should like the main R-7 is pumping out more Bass then the sub. In the set up screen what crossover should be set? Also do Pick Main + LFE or just LFE?
  5. Hi, Well I cannot seem to get the sub working with my new receiver. I used to have the speaker wires hooked up to the Sub with my old receiver. I now am using a subwoofer wire to the LFE plug. Even U-571 does not sound right. Is there a special set up in the Denon I need to access before it will work? The sub will move but nowhere near the level before. Any input will be helpful.
  6. Hello again, Well I got a deal that I could not pass up on a Denon 3803 (899.00). Im kind of clueless on how to hook up the subwoofer. Any help would be appreciated. P.S. Running RF-7's it this matters.
  7. Well, I went by my local Hifi buys and saw they had a sale on the Denon 3803 for 979.00. Is this a good deal for this receiver. Is the 3803 a good enough reciever that I can keep it for a while and not want to upgrade. BTW: I am running RF-7's etc... as my speakers.
  8. Should I get a Denon 2803 for now and then later use it as a Pre unit and get a better amp? Or should I save up a get a higher end receiver a little later? What is a fair price for a 2803?
  9. Thanks for the web site. Wow the 1600 looks like a hit. Anyone have this player? Any concerns?
  10. Looking for a new DVD player. Looking for a decent player that is progressive scan. Is it better just to get a player like the new Denon 910 or the 1600? But should I just bite the bullet and get the 2900? SACD is not a feature that I really need, since you can all ways pick up a SACD player for about $200.
  11. Is this kinda high power for a receiver at idle? Power Consumption : 120W @ idle, 1,040W @ rated output (7 channels driven)
  12. Good choice on the Camry. Some people might call it a dull car, but it has bulletproof reliability and it will last you a long time. My last Camry went 252,000 mile before getting hit. The Camry still comes in a 5 speed, but only in the 4 cylinder engines. My 2002 Camry already has 45,000 miles on it.
  13. Glad you got your bike back. Same thing happen to me about a year ago. Someone stole my bike when a group of us came back after a ride when we stopped at a gas station to get some drinks. I have a unique looking Cannondale and all the bike stores near me knows what my bike looked liked. About 2 months later the retard that sole the bike brought to in to get wheel trued. The owner called the police and me after he left the bike to get the wheel trued. I got my bike back and the punk never came back to the store to claim it. The way I feel if its your bike and you can get it back without too much fuss and you can prove you own it then you did the right thing.
  14. After years of waiting and high expectation, another of the "holy grail" DVD titles is finally here. On November 4th, Lucasfilm Ltd. and Paramount Home Entertainment will release The Adventures of Indiana Jones - The Complete Movie DVD Collection. Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade have all been meticulously restored by Lowry Digital Images to meet the exacting THX standards of quality, and include a new Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack. All three films are close-captioned and subtitled in English, French and Spanish in the U.S. The fourth disc of supplemental material includes new interviews with Indy's creators, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and Harrison Ford; a look at the making of the films; recently unearthed archival material and a spotlight on the real world history behind Indy's fictional globe-trotting adventures. Including the films, this set offers more than 10 hours of Indy entertainment. Though a final suggested retail price has yet to be announced, the four-disc set is expected to be available for about $49.95 in the U.S. The set will be available in both widescreen and full screen formats. Take a look at the box art for each below, and expect more details on the exact contents of the supplement disc to become now in the weeks ahead. Also note that there are no audio commentaries included in the set, and that the films themselves - thankfully - have not been digitally altered, a la Star Wars or E.T. You can read the press release for the full scoop, and as always, watch this space for more...
  15. http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,3973,1049289,00.asp Intresting article. Maybe DLP is the right way to go. I think a new TI chip is coming out this fall also.
  16. OOOOO, I think its the best of the Jack Ryan films. Only bad part is Mr. Baldwin playing Jack. Should have been Ford. IMHO
  17. I kept looking up at the speakers at Regal. For all of those in Atlanta you must go to the Mall of Georgia Regal 20. One of the newest and best sounding places in Atlanta.
  18. Wow, I got my Pair of RF-7's for 1300. They were floor models and the only thing wrong is a small dent in one of the dust cap. They only gave 25.00 off?
  19. What about watching it in a Regal Theater. I watch Identity this weekend and looked up and saw that Klipsch speakers were hanging on the walls. Wow did not know that.
  20. Yes it a feature that Ebay has. So you dont have to keep an eye on the item you can set a maxium amount you want to bid for the item. If someone comes along and places a bid higher it will kick in and place a higher bid for you.
  21. It looks like Klipsch forum now. Anyone else think so?
