  1. RF-7-$1300 RC-7-$490 RS-7-$650 KSW-12-$399 (weak point in the system) Panasonic 50 DLP-$2,899 Denon 3803-$800 Denon 2200-$500 LG LST-4200A OTA HDTV receiver-$159 Pronto TSU 7000-$650 (too hard/lazy to program completely) 120 or so DVD's at around $15- 1800 At this point, it is around $9,600 for the total cost of my setup. If you factor in he cost of the matching TV stand, cables, and furniture its well north of 13K.
  2. I use Philips Pronto TSU 7000. The remote is still a work in progress. Go to www.remotecentral.com to see what talented people can do with this remote.
  3. I am still tweaking my TSU 7000 setup after 6 months. It is a lot harder then I thought it would be. If you to RemoteCentral.com there are a lot of files ready to download. The people that took the time and effort to make some of these file are amazing.

I can get WB station with about 60-70% strengh but cannot pick up FOX. It appears that the towers are near each other and only 23 miles away. BTW: I am using a LG 4200A

There are other more significant sources of noise at my place..the Tivo being one. I think the Klipsch can topple it! ---------------- I think the fan noise got louder when it got colder. When I first got the TV in September I did not hear a thing. Or I just did not pay attention to it at that time. I would recommend getting an OTA HDTV tuner. To me it looks better with the OTA HDTV vs Cable HDTV. LG 4200a can be had for under 200 and I am just using a cheap powered antenna.
  6. I also have the Panasonic DLP (50in). Its a great TV only the fan noise gets in the way. Just turn up the volume on the Klipsch mask it
  7. Is Samsung going to use a 3-chip DLP instead of the color wheel? PS. I have my sub behind my Panasonic DLP with no impact to the TV.
  8. I work/live in North Atlanta. I am a broker for one of the online brokers.
  9. Unfortunately, the top of the Panasonic is only about 3 in thick. Due to this I have to place the cable box and other A/V gear under the tv stand and a small AV rack. The matching TV stand will not support the weight of the RC-7. I hate to place the RC-7 on the A/V rack on the side. I did notice that the RC-7 came with two big screws. Are these used to mount directly to the wall?
  10. Hello again, I just placed my Center channel (RC-7) about 12 feet above my TV. The living room had a built in shelf in the corner of the room. The TV stand is too small to fit the RC-7 and there is noway to place the speaker on top of the TV (Panasonic DLP). Is this too high? I does not quite sound right after I hooked it up with the receiver (3803).
  11. I just got a 50in Panasonic DLP tv. When I hook up my Denon 2200, should I run it with through the S-video or Component(3 videocables)? I would normamly run it through the Denon 3803, but it is somewhere in the box after moving.

They checked, and found the part(seat) is indeed out of warranty (3 years), but as a courtesy, will reimburse future dealer service up to $150. That, along with the $50 off parts coupon will make it a little easier to stomach. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to check out salvage yards, especially given the safety nature of this problem. Good suggestion, though, Charles (as well as those of others--thanks)! ---------------- Was this easy to get Toyota to help you? I have a 2002 Camry SE and I just had a crap load of stuff go wrong with this car in the past month.(Rear bearing failed($450 part) , 3rd aliment since I bought the car, and the glass in the power window rubbing) I drive a lot and the car has over 70K miles on it. The north Atlanta dealer would not lift a finger to help with my issues. We have had over $2200 in maintenance in the past 18 months with this dealer on all 5 Toyotas we own. Also we purchased 2 cars from them in the past 2 years. Do you happen to Toyota's phone number?
  13. I found this kind of strange. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=99&e=1&u=/ct/20040430/cr_ct/ebaylosergoesliterallyballistic
  14. All I can say is WOW. I really enjoyed the battle sequence at the beginning and the especially the end. The sound effects are awsome.
  15. How much does an RF-7 driver cost and how hard is it to replace?
  16. My crazy dog just ate my remote. It is totally useless. Any one know a good replacement? I was looking at the Pronto 7000 or is there a better remote?
  17. Own a very boring car, 2002 Camry SE V6. I even picked the dullest color (Desert Sand Mica). Only good thing is made final payment in January and is very reliable at 62K miles
  18. Hi, Well I got a Denon 2200 going into a Denon 3803 and I cannot seem to figure out how to make the DTS light come on the DVD player or receiver. I tried using both LOTR extended version, Gladiator, and PoTC. Am I doing something wrong?
  19. I would get Samsung HD931. Its around 299.00 and it will upconvert to 720P with the DVI output. It should also match the cabinet of the DLP. BTW how much you pay for the TV? I was about to get the 50in but instead paid off my car.
  20. Klipsch pursues reviews with some vigor. Check the November Home Theater mag for a review of the new RB-75 along with RC, RS-75 and RSW-15. Nice comments. Hi, Is there a new RS-75?
