I like it it seems to do the job I have a five channel rotel that I got from a forum member(damon payne) the rotel runs the front and the onkyo runs the surrounds,

Chris the onkyo 800 runs warm I have one and so does the moderator on one of the other forums secrets of home theater hi fidelity and he told me to change the speakers set up to 4 ohms and that will help the receiver not run as hot. I did it and it isn't as hot. pack

I also upgraded my center from the rc-311 to the rc-7 to go with my rf-3s. timbre match no problem no more volume adjusting while watching. Rc-7 superior to rc-3.

overrated movie!!!! SLOW. the last samuri that I watched last night pretty good and a lot of action.

I want to upgrade my receiver, onkyo 787. e-cost has the harmon kardon avr7200 for 749.00 it is a factory refurbished one but they claim they are a authorized retailer. would it be worth it?? any advice would be appreciated. I have rf-3 for fronts, rc-3 center and rs-3. thanks

rented The Core last night! if you want bass,deep bass this is the newest movie to give your sytem a work out! not to bad didn't have high expectations so it didn't disappoint.

they were considered open box since they were trying to move them out for the rs35's. they store usually gives great deals on open boxed stuff.the speakers were in mint condition. yes it is a authorized dealer here in milwaukee. you still got a good deal though. have fun listening to them.

you might have overpayed for the rs-3's I got mine for 300.00/pair.

I just bought an thx trailer demo disc on e-bay, It has the tex robot, which is really cool. it also has the tex robot which test the ex, the rear center effects speaker. really really cool. it also has the flag the turns on ex when your recevier has it set to auto. really shows off your system!! the only downfall it is a recorded disc. stupid question??? How is this done??? the 5.1 audio!

I read the posts here everyvery day but have never posted. I have learned so much from the guys here.I am a pretty new in the home theater world. I went to my local audio store and they had a pair of RS-3II open box for 185.00 each. after talking to him notifiying him that I knew he had to get rid of them because he had to make room for the rs-35 I talked him down to 150.00 a piece. is that a good price or did I over pay??
