  1. is anyone having problems with connecting cinema 600 3.1 & klipsch connect app ?
  2. Have a Sony X900H 65" TV with HDMI3 connected to a Cinema 600 sound bar. This setup has been in use since 2021 or so. Have a DirecTV HR44 DVR into the HDMI1 on the Sony TV. HDMI-CEC is enabled for everything. For the first 3 years of this setup, everything worked as it should. On the DirecTV remote which is programmed for the Sony TV when you hit volume up, the TV shows an indicator in the corner that the volume is increasing, and the sound through the Cinema 600 goes up. When you hit volume down on the DirecTV remote the volume went down. A few months ago, something changed (nothing we've done). Now when you hit volume up on the DirecTV remote, at first you see the volume begin to go up, but then it goes down, down, down and all the way down to 0 if you keep holding it in. If you hit the volume down, it also goes down. The only way to turn the volume up is to get the SONY or Klipsch remote and use this volume up controls. We instantly thought the volume toggle button on the DirecTV remote went bad since operation worked fine juggling multiple remotes. So we had DirecTV send us a brand new remote. I walked through the on screen pairing process where it detected the TV as Sony and pushed out the Sony IR command set to the new DirecTV remote. To our surprise, the same issue remains even with this new remote. Every time you try to turn the volume up with DirecTV, you see the volume initially start to go up but then it goes down. You can pulsate volume up on DirecTV remote and it just keeps going lower and lower until its completely muted at 0. Break out the Sony remote and you can turn it up. Now what I found is if I cover the IR EYE on the sound bar, this behavior doesn't happen. As long as the sound bar does not "see" the DirecTV's remote, the volume up button will definitely turn the volume up as long as you hold it - all the way to 100% if you can stand it! So I have a bit of an eyesore going on. A piece of paper colored in with a dark marker and packing tape holding it down across the sound bar. Ugly, but it fixed the problem. Does anyone know what could have happened between 2021 and 2024 that causes the Cinema 600 sound bar to interpret Sony Volume Up from a DirecTV remote as volume down, but Sony volume Up from a Sony remote as Volume up? I don't really need the IR eye but it would be nice to not have a big piece of tape on it. If I want to change inputs, I have the iPhone app or the hardware buttons on the sound bar itself.
  3. New to the forum. Thought I'd start a thread for the new Cinema 600 Sound Bar
  4. Good morning, I was wondering if someone can assist me please. I purchased a cinema Klipsch 600 in November of 2021 and the sound bar died on me approximately a month ago. I came across this forum online and I was very excited to see that there was a forum dedicated for klipsch. I followed the link and I have purchased the exact same power supply 24 volts 4 amps 5 volts 1 amp and follow your instructions down to the letter the green light comes on which does suggest power going to the power supply however the sound bar still is not booting up, I was wondering if someone may have an understanding as to why this is happening. Thank you guys so much.
  5. Hello I have a Klipsch 600 cinema soundbar. The first one had the no power issue. Klipsch replaced it and in less than a year the new 600 soundbar does a loud popping sound and then sound is reduced so you can not hear it anymore. Factory reset will fix it for about 5 minutes and it does the same thing again. Contacted Klipsch and they said it is too far out of warranty to replace it. They did send a 30% coupon for a full priced item but with the average life span of a year I do not think I want to purchase another Klipsch soundbar. My question is does anybody done or have a repair for this? Is it a supply power issue on the 24 volt side? Thanks
  6. Hey guys. Just upgraded to a Klipsch Cinema 600 soundbar system for our TV. Our previous speakers were a bare bones, 15 year old LG speaker system that was starting to finally burn out. No doubt the Klipsch are better quality. However, they just sound so tinny to my wife and I. It sounds like they are all treble, even though we have the subwoofer connected and working. My wife described it as it sounding like every character on the TV had a mic too close to their mouth. It actually started giving me a headache... Is this normal? Do these maybe need broken in? Or are we just not used to how good speakers sound? Thanks for the help Edit: I was also disappointed to see the Klipsch Connect app only had 6 preset EQ settings, that all sound nearly identical. I was hoping to able to custom adjust eq settings like I had seen online
  7. Its super bowl day and I am bummed! I've had the Cinema 600 sound bar with sub woofer for a couple of years and have loved it until today. After mounting the bar from our TV display I've tried plugging it into multiple outlets and there is simply now power when trying to turn the sound bar on trying both the buttons on the bar and the remote it came from, I'm super upset this sound bar does not have many years of use and I paid a lot of money for it, I see there is a service USB port on the side where you can pair a sub woofer i've validated the power cord is correctly inserted and there is power on the outlet. Why would this happen? Is there a quick fix to this problem or am stuck buying a new sound bar?
  8. I bought the Cinema 600 soundbar and sub combo 6 months ago for my bedroom. Everything seemed fine until recently when the subwoofer sound randomly cuts out when theres mostly dialogue, and then comes back muffled for a second. I also noticed a constant low toned static or crackling sound if I put my head down close to the sub, and muffled moments happen when scenes with bass are present. My sub is about 10 ft away with no obstructions. Power cable is plugged into grounded surge protector, but this issue still happens trying with and without the surge. Has anyone else had this type of issue? I wasted an hour on hold today trying to reach customer service, and just gave up waiting. 😔
  9. Hello everyone. Sorry for the poor English from the translator. I recently bought a Cinema 600 SE - 5.1 - Bluetooth set. A set worth recommending. However, I have a problem that, if not resolved, may result in a return to the seller (and I wouldn't want that). I like to exaggerate the bass or treble a bit. It depends on the source, when the sound quality is poorer or I listen quietly - it is worth adjusting some tones. I downloaded the Klipsch dedicated smartphone app, but it only has predefined settings (flat, movie, music, sports, etc.). I can't find even a basic equalizer, slider for low, mid, high tones. There is something like this for other Klipsch devices, but unfortunately I haven't found it for Cinema 600. How can this problem be solved? Please help.
  10. Is there a repair procedure available for the Cinema 600 Soundbar? Mine just died and I would like to repair it.
  11. I’m wanting repair instructions for a 600 Soundbar that will not turn on. Does anyone know if one is available or do I need to scrap this thing?
  12. I just bought this sound bar and reviews say it stops working after a month or so, has this issue been fixed, It has issues with the faulty chip, or should I send it back and get a different kind? And what would the warranty be? NO #1068777 *600-3 Sound bar NA
  13. Yes, I did every possible check and it’s totally dead and not working. I was expecting it to last at least 10 years. I purchased because I’m a big fan of the stereo speakers which I own several. Mia it possible to buy the sound bar only and reuse the sub and surround speakers ?
  14. Hello, Please help me with the following issue. Klipsch cinema 600 remote interfere with XIAOMI MI TV (android tv). For example volume down button on klipsch remote is arrow left command on TV, etc.
  15. Hello all, I was wondering if anyone has had issues with their sound bars playing bad audio, and not lighting up the LEDs. I reset the bar, reconnected surround sound and sub, and fiddled with the wires but have come up empty-handed. I even plugged the bar into another socket but the issues persisted. Any tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  16. I’ve only had this sound bar a little over 2 years but it is already having audio issues. The sound bar audio cuts out and on making it unbearable to hear audio. It’s connected to a Samsung led tv via hdmi. I tried swapping the hdmi cable and reseating the power cable but this didn’t solve anything. Not sure how to troubleshoot this any further.
  17. My Cinema 600 sound bar is connected via HDMI. LEDs had been working and I turned the LEDs off via the remote control. I had already connected to the sound bar using the Klipsch Connect app. The problem started when I tried to re-connect with the app and the volume cut out and the Bluetooth on my phone sent me a pairing request which failed. stating that the PIN was wrong. The volume also reset to zero. Now: The volume buttons for the sound bar and sub work on the remote. The buttons on the sound bar work. The LEDs will not turn on via the button on the remote. Cannot pair with Bluetooth by pressing the button on the remote. The app sees the Cinema 600 but, reports an error when I select "Setup". I uninstalled and reinstalled the Klipsch Connect app and tried a factory reset but, no change. The device is out of warranty. Any suggestions?
  18. Currently my cinema 600 have issue with the sub not having any light coming from it, after update the software on my Bar48 the light came on then went back to dark, if i unplug it for 10 mins and plug it back in will blink once dim then one light and go dark. I manage to get another subwoofer and was paired and working for a while after i unplug it to change location and plugged back in was doing the same as the other one. Any idea what would be? thanks! received_474448641440579.mp4
  19. Hello all. I am curious because my cinema 600 died. So I was wondering could I upcycle the subwoofer. And use it with another system?
  20. My klipsch cinema 600 sound bar stopped working today. All of a sudden I noticed some crackling , no sound out of the left tweeter and one red dot light where the usual white LED volume dot lights are. It does still seem to connect to the subwoofer(I see it’s blue light turn from flashing to solid), and will play but only out of the right tweeter. I am now also unable to connect to my soundbar via the klipsch connect app. Any help would be much appreciated, hoping there is a fix as I bought it second hand and no warranty
  21. Hi all...seems like a simple thing, but I can't get any answer/help from Klipsch or LG (TV). We just bought the Cinema 600 soundbar. All seems to be working fine, with the exception of when I turn on the TV, I would expect that the soundbar would power on as well. Is that a correct assumption? It powers off when i turn the TV off, but not when i turn the TV on. Using FireTV as provider. Connected using HDMI ARC. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks! Steve
  22. Hello. First post here... Hope someone can help. Got a Cinema 600 recently and am very happy with the sound. The remote works fine. The problem I'm having is that my cable remote for my Frontier Fios will adjust the volume of the soundbar. I don't just mean the volume buttons. I'll be using the directional arrows on the cable to navigate the channel guide, for example, and my Cinema 600 volume with change as I press the button. The Frontier remote is set to work with my Sharp TV, but I had no interest in in working with the Klipsch soundbar. Any ideas? Thanks! : )
  23. So due to my negligence the subwoofer to my cinema 600 soundbar is no longer alive! I'm still in need of a wireless subwoofer. What are my options? if I buy a secondhand cinema series sub will it pair? does it have to be a cinema 600 specifically or will 400/700/800 work? thoughts? any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  24. Really torn between getting the Cinema 600 or Cinema 800 Sound Bar. Is the 800 worth the $400+ extra? How is the quality of the "Virtual Dolby Atmos" ?
  25. Hi, I'm using my Cinema 600 which I was sent as a replacement after sending two dysfunctional Bar 48s back to the factory. Is it normal to wait over 60 seconds for the soundbar to power on? I have to hold or press power repeatedly. The sub comes on sooner. It also takes a while to automatically power on after I turn on the TV source. Is this a firmware thing? I got it brand new last week.
